This was part of a honeymoon stay for my husband and I. We thought the rooms and the overall decor in the home (and outside) were very well done. I was a little disappointed that people didn't utilize some of the other rooms more, such as the back, and the parlor area. The overall feel of the home was a bit smaller than I expected. The room we stayed in-#4, had some really great features, but also was quite small. The time during this was built is likely the reason. The bathroom was awesome. Two things we noticed right away that were not to our liking was #1 the lighting in the room- Overall I like having a more subdued lighting in a room, but in the bathroom it was hard to see what I was doing at times (styling my hair) even with all the lights on. The bed was not comfortable. If there was a different mattress that would have made all the difference! We loved meeting Nathaniel!! The hosts were awesome and welcoming. Thank you!!
Jim & Jeff are the BEST hosts! Along with their loving French Bulldog , Nathaniel. We were welcomed warmly from the moment we stepped into the B&B until we checked out two days later. Their unique and extremely flavorful breakfasts were what we felt differentiated itself from other B&B’s. Our room was cozy and perfect for our stay. There’s a coffee & tea bar available 24/7. The location is perfect to Commercial St and the harbor. We highly recommend The Gaslamp for an all around wonderful getaway.
The Gaslamp felt like a winter wonderland. It’s even more impeccably decorated in person than in the pictures. Really feels like both a luxury and cozy getaway. They make the space feel like home and an oasis. Highly recommend for a solo or group trip! Feels like the owners really care about you having a great experience.

So happy and grateful that I had the opportunity to stay at the Gaslamp for Halloween! It was an excellent experience that I hope to repeat again soon. Cozy, friendly, and perfectly situated in P-town. Can’t wait to visit again!
The Gaslamp is a beautiful bed and breakfast right in the heart of Provincetown—just steps from amazing restaurants, shops, and some of the best drag shows and entertainment in town. The newly renovated rooms are cozy and full of character, decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and local art. Jeff and Jim are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts are absolutely delicious! It’s always such a treat to relax in the parlor over a slice of quiche or a warm scone with coffee, chatting with other guests—and, of course, getting some love from their ridiculously adorable French bulldog, Nathaniel. You truly can’t go wrong staying at The Gaslamp. Once you visit, you’ll definitely want to come back again!
We loved everything about our stay at the Gaslamp! We visited in the fall and found the house itself to be the perfect cozy, romantic setting. The rooms are tastefully remodeled in a way that modernizes without taking away from the original aesthetic - the photos don’t do them justice! Jeff, Jim, and Nathaniel are excellent hosts and the breakfast each morning was so much better than it had any right to be. Located just one block of commercial street, you’re steps away from all the activities. So happy with our decision to stay here. Wouldn’t change a thing… aside from maybe a longer stay!
