We booked this hotel through GPT's recommendation of palace-style hotels in Nepal. We chose this one from three options, selecting a room with lounge service. We checked into our room on the 4th floor, and were pleasantly surprised when we opened the elevator – the entire 4th floor was a lounge area! There was a small counter and a small living room, along with a small bar stocked with food. We were well-fed for two days. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathtub where we could enjoy a luxurious bath. Descriptions like "exquisite" and "luxurious" don't fully express our feelings. The pampered VIP treatment dispelled any doubts we might have had before visiting. As ordinary people from Asia, we've never experienced such a royal experience before, but this time we truly felt it. Located in the Thamel area, the hotel is in a lively area with great shopping opportunities. Thanks to the attentive and meticulous care of the Club Sangrila team, we had a wonderful 3 days and 2 nights.

Stayed at Y&Y for 2 nights, where we enjoyed the fantastic breakfast, a good dinner in the chimney. Rooms, service and ambience make us dream of a reunion on our next Nepal adventure

Wonderful Stay at Hotel Yak & Yeti. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Yak & Yeti The hotel is beautiful the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety of fresh and tasty food. I would like to thank Jhapad for the excellent service during breakfast he was always welcoming polite and attentive. The Room Service team was also fantastic. Alina patiently explained the menu and helped me choose a meal that I really enjoyed and a special thanks to Bashanta who was very kind and took the time to recommend some wonderful places to visit in Kathmandu his honesty friendly attitude and genuine hospitality made me feel truly welcome. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so comfortable. I would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Yak & Yeti to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

One of the Historical as well as 5 star hotel of Nepal

We appreciate the opportunity to host Creator Summit at the venue and sincerely thank the service staff who were cooperative and did their best to assist us throughout the event. Unfortunately, our overall experience did not meet our expectations. We faced significant communication and coordination challenges before and during the event. From an organizer’s perspective, there appeared to be limited on-site managerial coordination, which meant our team had to take on responsibilities that we had expected the venue to handle. We also experienced delays and confusion due to paperwork and internal approval processes. At times, the workflow and communication between departments did not seem well coordinated, making it difficult to receive timely guidance and support. Better planning, clearer communication, and a more streamlined internal process would have made the event execution much smoother. While we appreciate the efforts of several staff members who were genuinely helpful, we believe there is considerable room for improvement in overall coordination, management, and operational systems. We hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps enhance the experience for future event partners. This version is firm and specific while avoiding phrases like “the system is the worst,” which can come across as emotional and may weaken the credibility of the review. Instead, it explains what happened and why it affected your event.
