They have a wonderful, always-smiling person named Joshua
This was our second visit to Khalidiya Palace Hotel, and while some things were wonderful, I also need to be transparent about my experience. On our first stay under previous management, I faced a serious incident where another guest behaved inappropriately. The prior management team addressed it, and despite that situation, I gave them five stars. This time, under the new management, the hotel still excelled in areas like breakfast and the facilities — those remain superb. Shoutout to the wonderful staff who really stood out: Ms. Rachel & Eylen at buffet area, Shyama, Dhanraj, Euricr and Hashir at reception. The technician who tried to fix the AC, I forgot his name. The only recurring issue for us was the air conditioning. While the AC was functioning, the airflow was directed toward the foot of the bed rather than the head area where guests normally sleep. As a result, my sister and I ended up sleeping closer to the foot of the bed just to feel the cool air. We noticed this during our first stay as well. We had booked connecting rooms, and interestingly, our friends’ room was much cooler and more comfortable because the airflow was directed toward the head area of the bed. In our room, however, the airflow pattern seemed different, which made a noticeable difference in comfort, especially while sleeping. We experienced the same issue again during our second visit, so it may be worth reviewing the airflow setup in some of the rooms. We are not sure what causes the difference, but it was noticeable enough that if we stay again in the future, we would specifically request a room where the airflow reaches the sleeping area more effectively. Additionally, I accidentally left my phone charger and adapter. While I take responsibility for forgetting it, I’ve stayed in other hotels where lost items were handled proactively. This time, I had to call myself, and though they found my cord, the adapter is still missing. I would appreciate a more proactive lost-and-found process. In summary, the staff and core services—like breakfast and pool —are strong reasons to stay, but I hope the management can improve on these recurring facility and lost-item issues.
