Absolutely terrible! My recommendation: just go easy on it. Why? I stayed here for five days. Only after asking three times was my room finally cleaned on the third day. Okay, everyone wants to save money, but to leave it unannounced and only have a sign far from reception indicating that cleaning is only done upon request is really outrageous. Not a peep at check-in, and no consequences after the repeated failures to clean. The pillows also smelled so disgusting (like a wet dog) that I had to throw them out of bed on the first night. Speaking of beds... If you offer a double bed, why is it actually two single beds that move away from each other during the night, making you feel like you're lying in a hammock? The water wasn't hot and the air conditioning wasn't cold, but there were also hardly any TV channels. The reception isn't reachable until around 10 a.m. So, it's best to contact them by phone or email. The breakfast staff were friendly, and the breakfast itself was okay. Parking is available. However, I won't be coming here again.

Well-maintained rooms on the outskirts of the city. The city center is a 20-minute walk away. The hotel offers a parking garage with charging stations and a small breakfast buffet in the morning. The rooms on the 4th floor even have a spacious balcony. The short distance to the highway is also a plus. There are also several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All in all, a good place to stay for a short business trip.

I was here on a business trip and am now facing the problem that the reception is unmanned in the mornings during check-out (until 1:00 PM). Since I had to leave at that time, I immediately requested a copy of the invoice via email that morning. Unfortunately, despite the urgent need for my accounting department, I have not yet received the document. Several attempts to contact them by phone throughout the day were unsuccessful, and my emails have also gone unanswered. For business travelers who absolutely require timely and accurate invoicing, this lack of service unfortunately poses a significant risk. There is an urgent need to improve the accessibility and reliability of the back office.

The room could have been cleaner (the area under the bed hadn't been vacuumed and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied). The street right outside is quite noisy, but the windows are perfectly adequate, so I wasn't woken up by it. The air conditioning could also be a bit quieter. The room's furnishings were perfectly fine – modern and functional. The bathroom was the same. I had to wait almost 45 minutes at check-in, which was far too long in my opinion. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet; it wasn't extensive, but it was good. The "real" coffee and decent orange juice were particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, the refrigerator wasn't working, so I didn't take advantage of the complimentary drinks (at a room temperature of 22°C). I was offered a room change, which I thought was excessive. Repairs couldn't be carried out during my stay. Sending the invoice by email didn't work, but they were able to print it out for me. Keep in mind that the reception isn't staffed until 1 p.m. In conclusion: The price-performance ratio is good, and it's a good option if you have an event at the Design Center.

There was a fairly long wait at reception, but there were also IT problems that day. The room was clean, modern, and adequate. Breakfast was €19.90, which, as is typical for hotels in this category, I found a bit too expensive. The check-in process was quite lengthy despite prepayment, etc. Negative points: The air conditioning was far too loud, the safe was still locked by the previous guest, and there was no shower gel in the bathroom (but it could be obtained from reception). Positive points: The staff was very friendly, and drinks were included. Ideal for getting some work done in the evening, with a desk and plenty of power outlets – perfect for business trips! Location: Bus stop nearby, about 15 minutes from the main train station.

A disappointing stay. Several rooms were infested with silverfish (Lepisma saccharinum), and cleanliness was inadequate (hairs, stains, clogged drain). No adequate solution was offered. Unworthy of a hotel of this caliber.

After I had a good experience with Amedia in the past, this time my stay was not good: At check-in, Amex didn't work; the bathroom got flooded because the shower drain was completely blocked; the floor was dirty and the chair's legs were completely bent. To their credit, service was friendly and they offered me to switch rooms. But it should be possible to fix these things within one day. Or even better, provide a clean and working room from the beginning.
