Pissouri Bay lies west of Limassol, roughly 30 minutes toward Paphos, below the hillside village of Pissouri. The wilder western end of the bay, away from the main organized beach, is a quiet naturist-friendly stretch listed in gay travel and cruising guides as a low-key alternative to Governor's Beach. Part of the surrounding coast falls within the British Sovereign Base Area. This is a seasonal, daytime spot with no facilities at the naturist end — bring water and shade, and be discreet, as nudity is not officially sanctioned in Cyprus.

This part of the beach is quiet and requires some climbing over the rocks - some do walk up and down barefooted, but best if you can wear good sandal/aqua shoe. I brought aqua shoes - so it was a breeze to walk on rocks and pebbles. There are pockets of pebble beaches as you walk along - mostly quiet, even during weekend, it is still not as crowded as other tourist beaches. I like it I can I spend whole day here - naked, reading books, swimming and sunbathing. It is a nudist beach, FYI.
