Amazing place where to rest

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was so happy with my stay at Hotel Sun. Due to a last-minute change of plans, I booked just one day before arriving and ended up enjoying a two-night solo getaway. I also contacted the hotel via WhatsApp the day before arrival to arrange an airport transfer. They quickly provided me with the contact details I needed, and after sending just a couple of messages with my flight information, everything was sorted. When I landed, my driver was waiting for me with my name on a card, which was a really nice touch and made arriving stress-free. I was especially pleased that I was able to check in early. The staff were friendly, spoke English well and helpful throughout my stay, and the hotel itself was modern, clean, and welcoming. The food was good. There wasn’t a huge selection, but I was happy with the options available and always found something I enjoyed at breakfast and dinner. I don’t tend to eat a lot when I’m on holiday anyway, so it was more than enough for me. My room was fairly basic but spotlessly clean, bright, and comfortable. It wasn’t particularly large, but it had plenty of storage space, large shower and a lovely little balcony. They also have uk 3 pin plugs! It’s perfect if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring rather than sitting in your room all day. The rooftop pool area was one of my favourite parts of the hotel. It was a lovely place to relax, with great views of the surrounding mountains and city. The rooftop bartender was also fabulous. As soon as my glass was nearing empty, he would check whether I wanted another cocktail—which I usually did ans he kept them coming, I felt even more valued that he remembered my drink order the following day. His friendly service really added to the experience and made my time by the pool even more enjoyable. The hotel also has a decent gym. I packed my gym gear with every intention of using it, but ended up spending more time relaxing and exploring instead! As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe during my stay. Reception happily arranged taxis whenever I needed one, and I had no issues getting around. There are shops, cafés, and places to eat within walking distance, plus a cash machine nearby. As a UK traveller banking with Chase, I was able to withdraw Turkish Lira without any charges. During my stay I also explored some nearby attractions. Around ten minutes away by taxi is the Cyprus Car Museum, which included entry to the Art Museum just a minute away. The combined ticket worked out at around £2.45. After visiting, I could hear the sound of drifting in the distance, so I followed it and discovered DriftNeu. I was able to ride as a passenger while one of the drivers drifted around the track, and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. If you’re staying at Hotel Sun, I would highly recommend. There’s also a beautiful mosque there too. Overall, Hotel Sun was excellent value for money and exactly what I needed for a relaxing solo break. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable base. 😊☀️🍹🏎️

A very comfortable place

The hotel is very functional and offers excellent value for money. We used it for 3 nights. We would especially like to thank Mr. Enver at the reception. We are very grateful for his attention to us, his willingness to help us with everything, his friendly demeanor, and his recommendations regarding Cyprus.

This place is great overall. The hotel is very clean and offers good facilities like a pool, gym, and multiple elevators. Staff are very friendly and try their best, even though English is limited. Meals are available in affordable packages, including breakfast and dinner buffet. Rooms are quite small with limited space for luggage, and TV channels are mostly local with only one English channel. Drinks outside of water, tea, and milk are extra. Price is a bit high at 42€ per person without breakfast, but overall it’s still a very good and comfortable hotel stay.

I'm staying at this hotel for 3 nights; today is my second day in room 508. The room is extremely clean and beautiful. They've placed everything you might need in the rooms. The air conditioning is quite adequate. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations; everything is visually appealing and sufficient. The pool and its view are excellent. Sun Hotel has no shortcomings compared to 5-star hotels; on the contrary, it has more. In terms of location, it's a 30-minute walk or an 8-9-minute drive from the center of Nicosia. As someone coming from Istanbul, you can easily choose this hotel.
