Aquamare Beach Hotel & Spa

Excellent but a bit expensive

Perfect for families and seniors, but boring for young couples ! If you are a young couple, this hotel doesn't offer much and you might find it quite boring. In my opinion, it is a property geared almost exclusively toward families and older people. Overall, I am a bit torn about my rating, leaning towards a 3/5. The Pros: Location: Excellent. It’s very close to Paphos town. You can easily reach it by car or by enjoying a lovely walk along the coastal promenade. Cleanliness & Food: The rooms and common areas were quite clean. The breakfast was good quality, though it got a bit repetitive after a few days. The Cons: The Sea/Beach: Unfortunately, the stretch of sea directly in front of the hotel was very dirty and full of microplastics. If you actually want to swim in the sea, you have to go elsewhere, which means walking further away, taking a bus, or renting a car to find a proper beach. Facilities: The indoor pool with the hydromassage was freezing – actually much colder than the sea outside, which defeats the purpose of an indoor spa pool. Also, unlike other 4-star hotels, there was absolutely no entertainment. Everything felt very bland and quiet. Other 4-star hotels usually offer great entertainment, such as professional dancers, fire shows, and a real live band, but here there was nothing. Staff & Service: The staff were not welcoming at all; no smiles or enthusiasm. Furthermore, their checkout policy felt very unusual compared to other European hotels I’ve visited, as they only let me ask about/arrange checkout details on the very last day. Overall, it’s a decent place for a budget-friendly stay if you just need a clean room and a good location, but don't expect a vibrant atmosphere or the service of a true 4-star hotel

Our stay at the hotel at the turn of May and June 2026 was very successful. The 4-star hotel deserves a high rating (though a small "-" for very thin walls that made it difficult to hear neighbors), the rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is very good and varied, and the themed dinners are delicious, with something for everyone. There's a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ice cream, and fast food. However, there's no entertainment. There was also live music, also for dancing. The hotel offers a gym, spa treatments, and a jacuzzi. There's a 1.4-meter outdoor pool and a children's pool with attractions like a slide, fountain, and more. Sunbeds with umbrellas are free and generally available, but tourists still reserved the best spots in the morning. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful, especially for those who don't speak foreign languages. Best regards, and thank you to Maria and Marina for their kindness. The hotel grounds are well-maintained and clean, with plenty of greenery and palm trees. The same can't be said for the nearby beach, which wasn't very popular. The beach was poorly cleaned and there were no trash cans, even though the grounds belong to the hotel. There were no umbrellas or shade on the installed frames. The beach was sandy but small, with plenty of rocks and seaweed in the lowlands, which could wash up on the beach. The promenade was very pretty and connected to Paphos Harbor by a half-hour walk. The proximity of the airport didn't hinder relaxation at all, but it was even a certain attraction.

A fantastic hotel! Right on the beach and right on the promenade to the old town. The food is delicious, and I'm hard to please! There's plenty of seafood. Only a little fruit in early June. Everything is spotlessly clean. The service is friendly and unobtrusive. The beach is sparsely developed, but the grassy terraces are so close to the sea that it's not a problem. We'll gladly return!

Nice hotel. Decorated in an English style. Clean and well-maintained. The room had good beds. Well-equipped. The staff, without exception, were incredibly hospitable and friendly. A lovely garden with a swimming pool and sunbeds, bordering a footpath and the beach. The breakfast was well-stocked, with everything one could expect at breakfast. Dinner was tasty and varied. Compliments to the chef and his team. In short, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

One start less just for one reason - massage therapy centre is a scam. Please have an attention to this place as they promise everything and people receive rubbish. More than that they scammed me with counting one price at the moment of booking and changing terms and price after rubbish therapy was provided. The rest is perfection. Special thanks to Eva receptionist girl who was very kind and treated us with care. Also many compliments to the chef Nikos and his team for making magic in their kitchen. Belissimo!

Had a fabulous holiday at this hotel all the staff were amazingly friendly especially Marina who we had great fun and banter with as her naughty boys but they all couldn’t do enough for us nothing was too much trouble and they all felt like old friends. The food was very fresh great choice and good quality couldn’t complain about anything. Room was kept very clean and tidy Reception staff were also lovely and very helpful. Highly recommended Dave Bryant (naughty boy)
