A decent hotel that does the job

Hotel rated 3 stars but with 2-star amenities. Breakfast offered very little choice. We suggested that a 3-star hotel should at least have a small refrigerator for 1-2 bottles of water, and the receptionist told us they would never put refrigerators in the rooms. The price was too high for the amenities offered.

The hotel is well-located, clean, and offers good value for money. The staff is excellent. I recommend it 👍

A very well-located hotel. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English. The room we stayed in was clean, but very small, and it's clear that it's due for renovation (many worn elements, a wobbly faucet, black silicone seals). Breakfast in the vaulted cellar is excellent. It's a perfect base for exploring the city center. The best place to park is in one of the nearby park-and-ride garages. For about €20 for three days, you also get a public transport ticket for up to seven people. Parking at the hotel is difficult to access (you have to reverse out through a narrow alley) and costs €20 per night.

Terrible reception, difficult parking. Very small and noisy room. The only good thing is the location, which isn't far from the center.

Hotel, very well located, very good value for money with paid private parking for the car

Arriving by car is very complicated. The parking lot isn't located in the same place as the hotel (which is a bit of a nuisance considering the price)!! The triple room we had offered no view, except of the room across the hall. The cleanliness was appalling: stains and hair on the beds, damaged curtains, water damage on the bathroom wall, and water seeping into the carpet. The cleanliness of the common areas wasn't any better. The bedding on the small bed was awful. So old that the center was sagging… I woke up with back pain. Breakfast wasn't anything special. We had booked for two nights, but the hotel was so terrible that we canceled the second night. I don't think I can find anything positive to say about it. I should also mention that a hornet flew out from behind the bathroom mirror, so be careful. However, the person at reception was very pleasant and helpful.

Very good location. I'm not giving it 5 stars because: the parking is very inconvenient, and it forces you to climb 81 steps. And the bathrooms could use some kind of support to help people get out of the bathtub.

It would have been preferable if toilet paper had been available upon our arrival; this would have saved us from having to improvise in the bathroom in a hurry. Similarly, it would have been appreciated if the receptionist had refrained from snickering when we pointed out this oversight upon our departure. Please charge the Transloetje lamp on the desk so that guests can have adequate lighting while working. This hotel is completely uninteresting. Comparing it to Appart'city wouldn't be out of place :-)

Avoid the attic room because of the infernal noise starting at 5 a.m. "It's just the noise of the big city," they told me at reception. In fact, the soundproofing is terrible. No refrigerator in the rooms. In short, avoid it, especially considering the price...
