In reality, Caritas Strasbourg prioritizes the world's poorest people over French citizens, of course! Isabelle Collo, its director, behaves dismissively and condescendingly when I ask for simple things: housing or long-term hotel accommodation. Services normally guaranteed by the French Social Action and Families Code. This "charity" is completely disorganized and condones a long series of abuses within the social sector in Alsace. Now Ms. Collo is refusing to send me the €92 check awarded by the Assistance Commission for distance glasses from the mutual optician Écouter Voir (I'm giving up on the prescribed progressive lenses). CHARITY, therefore: on the quote of over €600 for 2 pairs of glasses, the "Isabelle Collot Charity" pretended to give me €92 (I still haven't received it!). This "Isabelle" enjoys harassing me, leaving me homeless, and wants me to come and collect the check "in person" in Strasbourg, where she has left me on the street since June 2021. Her superior, Maxime Grillet, has been contacted several times and promised (promises are only binding on those who believe them, of course) to "set her straight." It seems that hasn't worked; she is still operating completely outside the law! And continues her abuse of power over a vulnerable person (myself). A complaint has been filed with Caritas World Headquarters. Sure, we're a far cry from Isabelle Huppert in "The Richest Woman" writing a million-dollar check to her grandson, and from the TV series showing the envelopes generously distributed by Ms. L'Oréal, where I was a hair coloring model on Rue Royale in Paris's 8th arrondissement 😡

Her reaction was extremely aggressive, to the point that I feared she might become violent. Then, she even whispered something to her colleague, using the word "idiot," though I didn't understand the context. I find this behavior humiliating and completely contrary to the values ​​that Caritas represents. One should never use their position to belittle someone who is already vulnerable. Today I went to Caritas. This was not my first visit. I deeply value this organization and the humanism it represents.
