La ViE – Queeres Jugendzentrum

La ViE is a queer youth centre in Karlsruhe, run by the Stadtjugendausschuss (stja) e.V. at Ettlinger Straße 9 in the Südstadt. Opened in 2016, it was one of the first dedicated LSBTTIQ youth centres in Baden-Württemberg, offering a safe space, advice and regular groups for young queer people. Its programme includes coming-out groups, trans* meet-ups, film evenings and creative workshops. While aimed at young people rather than nightlife, La ViE is a cornerstone of Karlsruhe's queer infrastructure and a useful first contact for visitors seeking community events or support.
