Wonderful dining experience, but the room fell short. We stayed for 5 nights, but the room was in need of repair as the air conditioning did not work. However, the meals were great. We enjoyed both breakfast and the half-board dinner. The atmosphere was well-organized, beautiful, and peaceful, and the owner was incredibly nice and kind.

The photos are very outdated! They offer half board, the food is inedible, there isn't even a cook present! Breakfast is always the same, the people lack motivation, it comes across as messy and a shadow of its former glory.

​We really enjoyed our stay at Avalon! The hotel has a truly authentic feel that perfectly matches the vibe of Rhodes Old Town. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the central courtyard is an absolute oasis. Having a unique, traditional surprise breakfast served there every morning was a fantastic way to start our day. ​As a family of three, we stayed in the Cosmos suite. It was incredibly spacious, featuring a large bedroom, a huge living area, and a bathroom with a great spa bath. The location is unbeatable—peaceful and tucked inside the old city walls, yet literally seconds away from the historic Street of the Knights and the Palace of the Grand Master. It was a wonderful, unique experience for us. ​The only minor critiques are that the suite could use a few cosmetic touch-ups to keep it looking top-tier, and the camp bed for the third guest could be upgraded to something more comfortable, like a nice sofa bed. ​Overall, with its amazing staff, delicious breakfast, and prime location, we highly recommend Avalon!

We ordered food - I ordered chicken gyros and got pork gyros instead. When I asked the waitress about it, she lied to my face that I was eating chicken, haha. I think I can tell the difference between chicken and pork. Then she rushed me to pay quickly, with some kind of excuse. I honestly do not recommend this place. The whole establishment is full of little scams. The city of Rhodes loves ripping off tourists.

great location in the center of old town rhodes and easy to walk to and from shopping and dining areas and remarkable quiet; my 2nd stay there (previously in april 2019 when Rhodes was pretty empty) and highly recommended, excellent staff who have been there long term, rooms are perfect for 3 or 4 day stays
