We loved the Avalon! We had a great room with a patio and view. Breakfast each day was wonderful. The staff were helpful and so nice. They picked us up at our car outside the old wall and were happy to provide information and advice for things to do around town. Perfectly located in old town near the castle and marina. Highly recommended!
The location in the old city was excellent & convenient for walking around. We stayed in the Cosmos suite which was great. A superb breakfast was changed up daily & served to you in their picturesque courtyard. The staff were extremely helpful & accommodating. The majority of taxis aren't allowed into the old part, however the staff would call those that could enter, to make transportation issues easy. Would recommend & return without hesitation.
Very central but quiet location. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Greek breakfast. Nice big room with large terrace.
We popped in for ice creams for 2 of us, expecting a cone, so was surprised to be given 2 bowls of ice cream and a 14 euro bill!! We really felt they should have let us know it wasn’t just a cone we were being given and we would have gone elsewhere. We will not be returning
We loved this beautiful little hotel with unforgettable charm, the room with refined colors and decorations and the green courtyard with fountain. Special thanks to the manager for her attentive Service and kindness!
This hotel is truly a gem, reminiscent of Moroccan riads, with a beautiful inner courtyard surrounded by suites. Our room was a spacious two-room suite, perfect for a family of four — elegant, functional, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was of a very high standard, with highlights such as Greek yogurt with honey (absolutely delicious), cappuccino, tea or coffee, cakes, and fresh fruit. The location could not be better: right in the heart of Rhodes Old Town, just a five-minute walk from the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, assisting us with the organization of our airport transfer and even accompanying us to the pick-up point. Highly recommended!
We recently stayed at the Avalon Boutique Hotel and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect — right in the middle of Rhodes’ medieval Old Town. You walk out the door and you’re straight into the cobbled streets with shops, cafes, and history all around. But the moment you step back inside, it’s quiet and peaceful, almost like you’ve escaped to another world. The stone courtyard is beautiful and instantly relaxing. Our room was the Anatoli Suite, which was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private terrace with sun loungers — great for having a bit of quiet time in the sun. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the bathroom had a multi-jet shower that was a nice extra. A big part of what made the stay so enjoyable was the people. Thenia welcomed us when we arrived and couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. There was also another lovely lady working there (sorry we didn’t get your name!) who was just as warm and welcoming. They really made us feel at home. Breakfast was served outside in the courtyard, surrounded by greenery with the sound of a little fountain in the background. It was a calm and relaxing way to start each day. This hotel has a great mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. We left with very happy memories and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Thenia and the rest of the team for a wonderful visit.
On our fantastic tour of the old town of Rhodes, we found the shielded and cosy farm environment where we ordered some food and a cup of coffee. We would like to say that according to Danish standards it was super nice and intimate with a good and smiling service.
Beautiful little boutique hotel with lovely drinks & food menu. The staff were lovely with a welcoming smile and could not have been more helpful. Hidden away just off the main streets , well worth finding for a quiet drink and to just relax in the shade for an hour or so!
We had planned to dine at Avalon in Rhodes Old Town after noticing it the day before while walking through the quieter streets of the city. The place looked charming and inviting, and we were looking forward to a lovely dinner in a peaceful setting. We even dressed up for the occasion. However, when we arrived in the evening, we found only two guests seated at the restaurant. Despite this, we were turned away and told that they do not serve dinner to people who are not staying at the hotel. This was surprising and quite disappointing, especially since they have a menu board displayed at the entrance, which clearly suggests that they welcome outside guests. It felt misleading and unnecessarily exclusive. We left feeling quite let down, as we had really looked forward to the evening. Luckily, we found another excellent restaurant nearby, which we ended up visiting several times during our stay. That experience more than made up for it.
