Dyke Nite

Dyke Nite is Limerick's first and (for now) only regular queer club night, running as periodic takeovers of Pharmacia on Sarsfield Street in the city centre. Billed as a night for "trans women and men, butches and bisexuals, fags and femmes, sapphics and stones," it is the closest thing the city has to a dedicated gay venue since the last permanent gay bar, Strokers, closed in 2017. The same crew also run the GOWL HAUS / Haus of Cxnt drag-and-club nights, and the night traditionally returns as an Alt Pride party during Limerick Pride week in July.
