Bar't (Bart Club)

Gay clubs in Italy are in disrepair but it's not just the management's fault, the people have completely changed and the atmosphere of 10/15 years ago is no longer there.

Permanently closed, unfortunately

Poor is an understatement. Entrance fee: €10.00 + €10.00 (now they ask for their own membership card), alcoholic drinks: €8.00 not included. It was a Saturday night, not just any day, and there were only four people there, and to think that years ago it was a very popular place. I just can't understand this decadence. It's incredible that there's no decent cruising in Bologna! Mystery of faith 🙏 J.B.

October 2023 - Rumor has it that it has closed its doors... and seized for debt... well... anyway it had gone into serious decline... guys, move to the Steam Sauna and let's hope there's an entrepreneur with the balls to open a proper cruising club

Thursday evening, the hours on Google said they opened at 9:30 PM. I arrived at 10:20 PM and the place was closed. I thought maybe it opened at 10:30 PM, and while I was waiting, another guy in a taxi arrived and also waited, but to no avail. At least update the hours. The website links to a Facebook page, and I couldn't find the hours there either. In fact, it said "opens soon" at 10:20 PM.

According to Google, they are open until 5:00 AM on Saturdays, but at 2:00 AM there were people inside and I was being shouted at through the closed roller shutter in Italian, of course... if you have different opening hours during the summer, update that online as well! This prevents disappointment and a bad review.

No comment. I haven't been going there for a while. I gave up at the beginning of 2020. Dirty, run-down place.... And I won't add anything else. I spent wonderful years there. Now, for me, the only thing in Bologna is the steam sauna.

I don't want to criticize the place and the staff speaks for itself.

I went on Saturday with some friends, and besides, there was no POS terminal to pay. The receptionist was very unfriendly and showed very little empathy. I wouldn't recommend it.

What can I say... the bar't is history, and not just of the Bologna area but of the whole Emilia region and beyond. Here I have "met" guys from all over the planet, being Bologna, a city of studies... The place, certainly, has its peculiarities, but it remains and, I hope, will always remain the perfect place to meet and get to know new people.... An atmosphere that reflects all the canons of the classic "Berlin bar"... By the way, I recommend guys, condoms are always available at the bar, if you don't have them, and let's have FUN!! 🤟
