Algarve Pride March (MOA) Faro

The Marcha do Orgulho LGBTQI+ do Algarve (MOA) is the Algarve's Pride march, held in Faro since 2018. It's a community march run by local groups rather than a tourist festival. The 6th edition took place on Saturday 20 June 2026 under the theme "A nossa existência não é debatível" (our existence is not up for debate), organised by APF Algarve, MAPS Algarve, TransParente, Werk Room Faro and Associação Xis, with support from Faro city council.

In 2026 marchers gathered at the Liceu de Faro in the afternoon, walked down Avenida 5 de Outubro, held a silent moment at Largo da Pontinha and finished with a free party at Fábrica da Cerveja. We found no 2025 edition. The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked in October 2026; follow @marchalgbtqialgarve or moa-algarve.pt.
