A beautiful beach with small coves, access to it is not for everyone, it has a fairly steep descent with steps...it is sheltered from the strong wind.

A magnificent cove nestled in the heart of the cliffs. Surfing is possible here if the conditions on the west coast are too rough. The waves are often hollow but manageable. There are many surf schools. Be careful of the current. Access is via a steep but manageable staircase. There are no surfboard rentals on the beach, but they are available in the town a few kilometers away.

A smaller but sheltered beach, which was a real advantage given the current wind. Probably very popular with surfers for the same reason. The stone steps down to the beach are a bit long, but the descent is worth it. There's a small bar at the bottom of the beach, but unfortunately it was closed when I was there.

An incredible beach, surrounded by high cliffs and with a wilder, more tranquil atmosphere. The waters are crystal clear and the scenery is simply spectacular. Access is via a relatively long staircase, but the beauty of the place makes the effort worthwhile. Ideal for those seeking nature, peace and quiet, and one of the most beautiful beaches in the Sagres region.

Beautiful surf beach. Lots of steps to get down to the water, lots of parking.
