Every time I go, I feel right at home. It's wonderful for disconnecting and spending a few days in the heart of Playa del Inglés. But what truly makes this hotel stand out is undoubtedly the staff—how helpful and attentive they are to the guests. Luis, Rayco, Javi, and Mari Carmen are all top-notch. And I must highlight the warmth of Kevin, the manager. A truly wonderful guy.

Staff are extremely polite, efficient and friendly. A shout out to Aythemi on reception who couldn’t be more helpful, and to the little room cleaner who brightened your day by her sheer enthusiasm. The pool area is nice, clean and spacious. However the sauna and steam room are tiny. The rooms are acceptable but very dark, the black floors and dark decor really don't help. Bathrooms are functional but tired. The kitchenette is also tiny and whilst usable for snacks it’s really not good for meal prep. Overall an OK place to stay, helped by the friendliness of the staff and the central location.

Without a doubt, the best LGBTQ+ hotel in Maspalomas. The hotel's facilities (bar, jacuzzi, pool, sauna), rooms with views and a kitchenette, and the location make this hotel the best of all my visits to Gran Canaria. On this occasion, I want to thank Kevin, the hotel manager, for the excellent service and for making our vacation unforgettable. I will definitely return.

Well located and very clean

I stayed here for nine days and upon my check-in Dayana at the front desk was very helpful as we were all the front desk staff the whole time I was there. The bartenders were so friendly and so nice and housekeeping were very friendly as well. The location is amazing. I definitely recommend for the service the price in the location. thank you very much Axel Beach.

Best stay ever. Lovely staff. Very unconventional and helpfull. We will definetly come again. Absolute value for money. We had road side rooms and we can only recomend them. No noise. No temperature issues.

We love the vibe from this hotel, at the moment you arrive, they give you a warm welcome. The staff is super friendly. We took the room with view on the swimming pool. It is really nice to wake up with that nice easy listening music, if you window or balcony door is closed, no worries you will not hear it. We took the breakfast and that one is amazing. We are still here but already know next time we will come again to this hotel.

"Great stay here! The staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but include everything you need (fridge, cooker, dishes). The cleaning service is the best ever – the whole area is cleaned multiple times a day, and your room is cleaned daily with fresh bed linen! The pool is great; even though the hotel was full, we never had trouble finding a free sunbed in the sun or shade. For me, the best part was the gym – very well-equipped and open 24/7!"

Been coming to Axel Beach Maspalomas for years, and there’s a really good reason for it. The number one asset here are the staff! Absolutely everyone was a pleasure, nothing too small to sort, that’s from reception to the cleaners and the poolside guys. Special thanks to Aythomi who gave us a great check in experience, which got the whole holiday off to a great start. The actual hotel, also great, you can really have whatever holiday you want, solo experience no problem, if you want to be sociable then there are plenty of opportunities especially poolside, the rooms are super clean (thanks to the brilliant cleaning team), beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet, had everything you could need for short or longer stays. A big thank you to the whole Axel Beach team, really made the stay special for us, can’t wait to see you all again soon.

I stayed at the hotel a few days ago. It's not the first time I've stayed there when I'm on the island. I have to say they treated me wonderfully, and not just during my stay. Even before: I almost couldn't go due to a family issue, and they were incredibly accommodating. All the reception and buffet staff were amazing. I want to give a special thanks to Mari Carmen and Alex. They were always so attentive. You guys are a fantastic team. Thank you so much for everything. I'm sure we'll see each other again soon. The room wasn’t nice. Air conditioning didn’t work, the shower backed up and didn’t drain. I think there were bedbugs (bitten to death). If you are considering staying here think again, do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. The staff on the front desk were always polite, no issues there.
