Axel Beach Ibiza

Overall, we ad a mixed experience over 8 days. The reception team, especially Nabila and Roberto, were outstanding—always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The apartment itself is nice, although it could benefit from more practical storage space for longer stays. The biggest disappointment was cleanliness and maintenance. Housekeeping often felt rushed and below the standard I expected. The pool area was not cleaned properly, with dirt and spilled drinks remaining on the floor for days, making it unpleasant to walk around barefoot. The facilities also need much better maintenance. The gym had no air conditioning and was too hot to use. The spa was the same—we left the shower already sweating because there was no ventilation or cooling. Even the hair dryer in the men’s changing room wasn’t working. The lifts were also extremely hot, especially when travelling to the fifth floor. The bar staff were excellent, but one person alone isn’t enough, and even getting a morning coffee could involve a long wait. As an Axel Hotel member who has stayed at your hotels in Barcelona, Berlin, and Madrid, this experience was noticeably below the standard I’ve come to expect from the brand. It feels as though the staff are doing their best, but the hotel is under-resourced and maintenance is not receiving the attention it needs. I’d genuinely like to come back because the hotel has great potential and the team is wonderful. However, I wouldn’t return in its current condition. I sincerely hope management invests in staffing, maintenance, and the guest experience, so this hotel can reach the same high standards as the other Axel Hotels I’ve enjoyed.

Hotel was perfect staff (Thomas nabeela and kiara) were great help and their service was excellent couldn’t of asked for better people.

Location and Rooms seem perfectly fine from what I can see online so I cannot mark that down, however terribly let down by the service. I tried to cancel or move my booking due to a family bereavement I was unable to make the dates I tried 5-6 weeks before so plenty of time! - I explained my situation and I was just told tough luck - For a hotel company that promotes LGBT values I was very disappointed by how they treated me. They kept saying my situation 'wasn't bad enough' to require a refund otherwise they would - I have stayed in other AXEL's around the world and used to recommend to friends but now I have fully boycotted them because of their lack of understanding and they're not the company I once thought they were. Quite frankly shocked and appalled about how my situation was handled.

The hotel was ok for the price point. Room was always clean, housekeeping did a great job. Basic rooms but clean. A lot of younger package age group tours. Front desk staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The breakfast was great, especially Flor and Javier ( and all the breakfast staff ) went out of their way every morning ! Great job.. Overall, decent hotel.

A good and solid hotel. We stayed for four nights and overall had a nice time! The room was clean, but the safe was unfortunately broken, and the pool was very dirty (even though it was cleaned every morning). The pool tiles were also very slippery and poorly laid. Breakfast was good for €15 per person, with a nice selection. The staff were generally very friendly and attentive.

The cleanliness was a serious issue. I stayed for seven days, and during the entire stay the room was never cleaned properly. Even the towels, which were supposed to be clean, had hair on them.

Great hotel. Apartments are very spacious (2 bedroom apartment) great location on the beach. Water taxi from back of hotel to San Antonio in 10 mins.

This hotel made countless promises but failed to keep a single one. They assured me that my booking would be cancelled and that I would receive a refund. After weeks of emails, calls, and repeated promises that the refund was “being processed,” absolutely nothing happened. The customer service was incredibly disappointing. Instead of solving the issue, they kept making excuses and giving false assurances. It feels like they simply tell customers what they want to hear without any intention of following through. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. If you value honest communication and a company that keeps its promises, I strongly suggest booking somewhere else.

The hotel is right on the beach. The waters were great to swim in and the music at the bar and pool area were fantastic. The crowd was mostly adult couples that still carried themselves with style. Close enough to Ibiza to not miss a thing without the starvation for peace. Nabila was excellent at managing any needs I experienced during my stay. Will book again.

I had a very lovely stay here, Nabila me feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make my stay great I appreciate her. I will be booking this hotel next time due to the service.

Excellent service! The Argentinian girl at the café was lovely and very attentive, and Belén, a very friendly Andalusian woman, was behind the bar! I would definitely go back!
