This is a very comfortable hotel, lovely big rooms for the price, beds amazing and nice seating areas in hhe rooms,

Afternoon Tea was fantastic 3rd time for Afternoon Tea Will be back again

Firstly, I'm only knocking off one star for the fact that the hotel rooms are a little dated, they were perfectly functional, there was working wi-fi, comfortable beds and chairs, a large tv, tea and coffee making facilities. The location is ideal for visiting the Kelpies, a short walk from the hotel. The Cook's restaurant is handy for a good quality meal in an evening. The hotel's breakfast is fantastic, the haggis and black pudding were the standouts on the cooked breakfast. Plenty of fruit options, cereals, pastries, etc. I was staying for an event at the hotel and the food served was fabulous, it was essentially the same as the afternoon teas, I most certainly enjoyed sampling all the cake options (I even took a load home, I've just had a scone for my tea, still delicious!) Finally, a special mention to the staff, especially the lady on the breakfast service team, outstanding!

A somewhat convenient hotel in Falkirk, especially if you’re looking for more affordable pricing as a tourist. However, it’s not the most convenient if you’re planning frequent trips to Edinburgh. Getting an Uber was very difficult, but there is a local taxi system. I’d recommend asking the staff to call one for you. There are also two nearby train stations that make it possible to travel to cities like Edinburgh, Stirling, and Glasgow. My main issue was with the service at check-in. The staff member who assisted us came across as condescending and rude, and we were charged extra for an additional bed, which wasn’t handled very well. The rooms themselves are fairly outdated and nothing too special, so just be aware. That said, we did have some more pleasant interactions with other staff members during our stay.

Pleasant hotel located near the motorway and easy access to nearby attractions. Rooms are spacious clean and tidy. Most are located in the adjoining building. The in house restaurant served good food though not Michelin stars. Would recommend.
