A lot of negativity about this hotel had me worried prior to my stay. It was unfounded as everything was brilliant. Great little room with a window overlooking the street, clean bed and bathroom and a fabulous night's sleep. We stayed one night for a gig so it was ideal for us. Perfect location for nightlife and city centre too so go for it if you are visiting Liverpool for a night or two

Had a spontaneous trip to liverpool and wanted to stay somewhere for just 1 night. This was the cheapest accommodation on booking.com so we went for it at £29! bargain!! The lad on the front desk was very polite at helpful. Lovely welcoming attitude and assured us that if at any point we need something there will be someone to help! Didnt get a name but we met him on the 5th april at around 5 or 6pm! So creds if that was you and you read this review! Anyway so warning! I would avoid this place IF you have an issue with feeling claustrophobic. The rooms are efficient, clean, got what you need and for such a cheap price im impressed however for the one night the little space didnt bother me and my partner. The rooms have a tv mounted on the wall and 2 fixed clothes hangers also mounted on the walls. The ensuit consisting of towels, sink, toilet and shower all clean n good are boxed off out of the room bymisted glass and a big mirror and whats left of the room fits a double bed very snug. The diagram i quickly sketched out is an accurate perspective of how the rooms space is utilised. Like i said not a problem for us but maybe for someone else. Rooms were clean and modern. Overall very impressed!

Nice and clean hotel, staff was lovely, the only problem i had was that its near night clubs that are open til early hours and you could hear the booming from the music and i am a dead light sleeper but if your going out for the night you be ok, i only stayed over as i was going a concert

Probably one of the worst gaffs ive paid 30 pound on. The beds are small the pillows are neckbreakers, and its uncomfortably caustraphobic, i think a night by the docks on the bench would of been a better sleep. In all seriousness there was no coffee or tea at all in the room or even a fridge, that should be a basic in my opinion no matter how much you spend, people reading this make of that what you will. No walking space either

Good value stay at great location. Rooms very small and difficult to put a large bag down in but for a night or two it was very clean with everything you need

Grim as it gets. Really friendly guy working on the desk, but it was loud lads central and prison cell rooms.

The stay was fine overall, but the reception staff was very rude, especially at night. It made the experience uncomfortable.

Some people complain about the room and i get it, yes it's small and lack places to put your stuff if you travel with somebody, well you have way better hotels to choose from and waaaaaay more expensive, if you, like me, travel on a budget and just want to spend your money visiting museums and at pubs and shops this hotel provides everything you need, the staff is kind, rooms are clean and modern including the bathroom and is super well located. It's a 10 /10.

The location is honestly the only thing worth mentioning. I’ve stayed here three times — the first time was perfect, but the last two visits were a nightmare. I understand this is a budget hotel, but some things are just unacceptable. There was no toilet seat, which made the bathroom smell awful. The bathroom overall was in terrible condition. The beds are extremely uncomfortable — I tried to sleep in the middle, but kept rolling to one side or the other. I couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep at all. The room view was also very disappointing — just as bad as the bathroom, to be honest. Yes, it’s cheap, and you could stay for a week if you want. But don’t expect any cleaning, fresh towels, or basic service during your stay.

The rooms were very small the location is very good:)
