Rooms small clean and in a great part of the city. Ideal for 1-2 nights only. No room to swing a cat. But ideal price. No parking but offered at a discount at NCP that didn’t work.

By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. They were using power tools at 7:30am which disturbed the most uncomfortable sleep of my life on a mattress made of bricks, pillow made of paper and a bed that tilted you slightly upside down. The entire hotel was dirty and the lift didn’t work properly. You have to pay £5 just to leave your bags there and £20 if you want to check in before 3pm. The windows offer no refuge as they’re so thin you hear every noise outside all night, Wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me.

I was woken up at 3 AM by a false fire alarm. There was also a water leak in the bathroom, and it was so cramped I couldn't even open my suitcase. It was a terrible night. The only good things were the friendly staff and the convenient access to Matthew Street.

Cheap hotel with a bed, shower and TV. We got a room with no windows which was great, no light or noise pollution from outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. If your are staying for a few nights in Liverpool then this is a good place in the centre of Liverpool.

I’d only stay here again if I was really stuck and there was nowhere else available. Firstly, when checking in, reception asked us to tap our bank card so they could keep it on file in case of any damage to the room which is fine but We were told there would be no charge when tapping but around 30 minutes later I noticed 2 attempts had been made to take £20 from my card. Fortunately, I had deliberately used a card with no available funds in it, so the transaction was declined. They aren’t very transparent about this, It’s just something to be aware of when checking in. If they just said “it will take £20 but you’ll be refunded once you’ve checked out” that would literally be fine lol. The rooms that are windowless are extremely small, with no desk, wardrobe, or storage space, just a bed and a bathroom. The mattress was very uncomfortable, the room was dusty, and there was mould in the shower. We booked around a week in advance and paid £113 for one night, mainly because most other hotels in the area were showing prices of around £180 at the time. However, when we checked again on the day of our stay, many of those same hotels had dropped to around £80 per night. In hindsight, I’d recommend waiting until closer to your stay and checking other options, as you will find much better value elsewhere. I can’t even say you get what you pay for here, as there were very few amenities and it ended up being more expensive than several nearby hotels for a one night stay booked in advance

Stood on 3rd floor. Rooms are OK-ish. Noisy with upper floor when bathroom is used. Reception people are friendly and can answer questions and point directions. Good budget option.
