The only thing going for this place is its location. Shockingly unsafe - doors are flimsy and you’ll hear footsteps outside your door all night. Works were being carried out on the hotel with no notice. Covered in dust and heavy paint fumes. The room was not ready. Shown to another room, which had no shower screen, towel rails etc. Lacking in all regards. Would not recommend.
I WOULD LIKE TO GET A REFUND ASAP! While I am sleeping some stuff opened my room and he was like oh sorry. What was that sorry ? I was naked. Sleeping in the bed. He has no idea that room is full!!! Room 11. Please do check the cameras. I came yesterday around 10.30pm. I already booked via booking.com but mistakenly booked on 31st , the receptionist Indian guy said if you’d like to stay today you have to pay again. I did pay £50. In my room the heater was not working that’s why he brought an electric heater for me. Kettle was not working. He took me to the kitchen and I saw that messy and dirty kitchen. The toilet and shower is outside of the room. It’s very disappointing and uncomfortable to experience. I would like to have a refund for 22nd May and 31st of May. I paid in total £110 .
We booked a superior double room based off the photos on booking.com showing the rooms to be of high standard. Unfortunately when we checked in the room looked nothing like the pictures - had damp on walls and around windows - electrical wire running along the carpet with tape over it, holes in the ceiling lights showing plasterboard and insulation as well as a number of dark curly body hairs on the bed (I’m ginger just to add), even waking up to look in the mirror with great horror to see one latched onto my face. We also found a wood louse on the bed when we were packing up to go. The rooms would greatly benefit from some TLC and better tidying measures - also would be good to give a true reflection on the booking.com pictures.
No running water, outdated rooms, maintaining and construction noises starting 7am…location is good though
Absolutely disgusting hotel. Smelly and filthy. Checked in and checked out within 10 minutes - did not stay. I know that it is a budget cost but there is no excuse for the standard this hotel offers. Do not stay here.
Absolutely disgusting. For the price I expected basic I did not expect filthy. There is no way myself and my daughter were going to stay in that room. I didn’t even bother asking for a refund as after looking at the reviews it was clear that wouldn’t be forthcoming and I didn’t want to add any more unpleasantness to what was supposed to be a nice weekend plus I had my car parked in the car park. We booked into a very nice hotel round the corner. Avoid at all costs
