Had a lovely one night stay here after a night out in Manchester. We booked a king sized room, which was lovely, and the bed was sooooo comfortable. It was the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had after a night out! The hotel itself is done out in super funky decor with pop culture icons everywhere you look. Just perfect for the location. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the finishing touches were really thoughtful. All in all a fabulous stay, would love to come back!
I used the “Work + Play” meeting room for my company’s annual strategy meeting. The meeting went very well, and Gwen was always on hand to assist with any requests and to refresh the room during each break. The space was comfortable for 37 people, with plenty of room. The room was fully equipped with all the necessary facilities, including flipcharts, a large screen, office supplies, and even a dedicated place to hang coats. The location was also more than ideal for our needs. The food was delicious. I only have a few minor suggestions for improvement regarding the sound, which was a little limited, and ensuring the food is kept warm throughout.
An Unforgettable Christmas Party at Malmaison Manchester! Our company Christmas party at Malmaison Manchester was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The venue had a wonderful, festive vibe and the entire experience was top-notch. Delicious Food: The food was outstanding, with everyone raving about their meals. I can personally highly recommend the beef cheek – it was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The quality was exceptional, a true highlight of the evening. Friendly, Attentive Staff: A special thank you to the staff who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive all night. The service was seamless and they genuinely went above and beyond to ensure every guest was looked after, contributing greatly to the positive atmosphere. Great Atmosphere & Music: The vibe was perfect for a celebration, lively and fun. The DJ played excellent music that had everyone up and dancing, making for a truly memorable night. Malmaison Manchester delivered a brilliant event, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue for our Christmas celebration. We would highly recommend it to anyone planning a party or looking for a superb dining experience!
Excellent location. Contemporary interior design. I had a meal in the restaurant which was satisfactory other diners enjoyed their meal and said it was excellent. Service for the evening meal was satisfactory. Breakfast service was great. Hot breakfast is served plated to your table. Fresh, hot well made. Breakfast was a highlight. I was there for a conference and the catering was excellent. There is a small gym.
I booked this trip for my parents, uncle and I to celebrate my mam's 60th birthday. Unfortunately I became unwell and could no longer go. My parents enjoyed their stay at the hotel. They said it was pretty clean and comfortable, and they especially enjoyed the bar. The said the bar staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful. However, what is letting this hotel down is customer service. As I couldn't attend but was concerned about using the app to cancel when we still needed two other rooms, I spoke with a Hotels.com chat agent who tried to contact the hotel on my behalf but couldn't get a response. I also wanted to arrange something special in the room for my mam's arrival and had used the app at time of booking to ask what was available. I never got a response via the app so a few days before the trip I emailed the hotel directly. Responses back and forth took so long that in the end they weren't able to set anything up as by this point it was check in day and I was told balloons were arranged via a third party. I asked if there was anything at all that could be done to make her stay extra special while she was there as it was a 2 night trip, and they completely stopped responding. Have heard nothing since and was unable to make the stay special for her birthday. This would put me off staying again in case I needed customer service support.
