Convenient location for sightseeing

Quirky rooms and interesting decor. Rooms were clean and tidy. No problem with getting more tea or coffee sachets from reception. Considering how much rain there is in Manchester, umbrellas should be available at the desk- either for hire or have ones that are left behind on offer. There were no spare pillows or blankets in the wardrobe. Breakfast is good value - very helpful staff in the restaurant.

It's a great location and the staff are friendly. The bathroom was very new. My sheets were marked, the tea items were basic and the breakfast was okay. I'd stay again. Prices were higher and it was full due to the Weeknd playing at Etihad. It's right by the tram line/metrolink and there's a lot of shops and restaurants near by.

The Indian receptionist was very warm and helpful. The shampoo bottle in the bathroom was empty before we entered the room but everything else was good.

Great stay at here.. have been coming here for years now for Pride. On this occasion had a wonderful welcome and help from Cindy as I'd messed up my booking! Thank you so much! Another great stay!

For the price that we paid this place is amazing. We faced the road but the soundproofing on the window was fab. The bed was clean, plenty of tea, coffee, hairdryer, iron. Lovely hot shower. Yes it could do with a lick of paint but for one night this place really served its purpose. Staff were lovely too.

Funky on the website funky in person the hotel staff were warm on welcoming no messing the reception area looked amazing also eating area you are spoiled for options that’s even before you get to your room which was clean comfy everything was good loved the design - bathroom clean decent

The hotel is a little quirky in a good way and the staff are all professional, polite and pleasant, it’s well maintained, very clean and is situated almost at the heart of the city, the front entrance is on a buses taxis etc only route and therefore you have to maul your luggage a short way ( around 200 mtrs ) from a local secure car park. The buffet breakfast lacks a few items ie fried eggs ( this is however common place in many hotels nowadays ) black pudding and mushrooms. Now back to the staff, as I stated they’re professional and polite but I’d like to take the opportunity now to highlight 2 members that I found to be amazing and a credit to the hotel, these were Preston and Marina and both deserve a personal accolade on their professionalism and also their personal people skills, 10/10 for both of these staff members

I stayed here for one night and found it good for a short solo stay. Check-in was very quick, taking less than two minutes, and the room, while small, was adequate for one person just needing a place to rest. It had a 90cm bed, a bedside table, and a small desk, and everything was clean on arrival. Amenities were quite basic, with an all-in-one soap, black tea, instant coffee, and limited sugar. Housekeeping is only provided on the third day unless requested, which is worth knowing in advance. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was a plus. I also appreciated the complimentary late check-out, as standard late check-out is £10 per hour subject to availability. The main downside was the noise from some of the room equipment. The air conditioner made an unpleasant cricket-like chirping sound, and the hair dryer also squeaked. The immediate surroundings are fairly quiet, but it is within walking distance of livelier areas, including nightlife, the canal with coffee shops, and stations. The lobby was also a useful place to sit after check-out.

Basic, clean room. TV didn't work, couldn't tune to any channels so pointless in the room. Good location and slept well, greatful of the air conditioning
