The location of this hotel is brilliant- that is the only positive. There is a female on the day staff who clearly dislikes customers and why she is working in customer service is a mystery. She is rude, lacks manners and treats everything like a chore. We asked for towels having just come back from a run and she asked if we needed them now as she was busy?? The other three interactions we had with her were equally disappointing. The room was facing the light well, so no daylight, constant hum of the air conditioning units, opposite the lifts and the walls are made of paper - do not expect a peaceful nights sleep if you allocated one of these rooms. You can sleep when your neighbours sleep otherwise you hear every conversation, every phone call, every video being watched. The beds are fine- reasonable sleep quality. They charge you £3 to leave a bag for the day. Hostels where you pay £20 a night in a dorm don’t charge to leave bags - it leaves a nasty taste and is another example of this hotel just being ‘cheap’, without a cheap price tag. There are lots of hotels in Manchester with equally good locations, would highly recommend to stay in one of those, they cannot be worse than this one.

Check in was easy. The rooms was clean with tele, hairdryer, tea/coffee, towels. Bed was comfy. Only a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly station. About 40 minute walk to the Etihad/Co op. Price was very reasonable £80 for a double room for the night. The only downside the walls are really thin so you can hear people talking/phones going off in the next room. Perfect budget hotel for a one night stay for concert

Nightmare experience with OYOROOMS and this hotel's reservation system. Never got to stay here. Avoid there's so many better options around I have an upcoming trip to Manchester and was set to stay at this hotel. I booked via OyoRooms at the suggestion of Google. Big mistake. If you look at Oyoroom's Trustpilot reviews, they have 700 1 star reviews for a reason. Once you book with them - you are stuck forever. You cannot view your booking, manage your booking, cancel your booking - nothing. Their entire website is set to redirect to the homepage no matter what you do. You download the app - it will show you your booking but with the wrong price and wrong dates. Still won't let you cancel, or manage, or talk to anyone. You cannot get in touch with customer service at all. Their email is set to return to sender. Their ticket system does not get answered. If you're unlucky enough that you decided to pay ahead - good luck getting a refund ever. It is literally a malware of a company designed to make your life as complicated as possible. There's 700 other reviews on Trustpilot stating the exact same thing about their experience with Oyorooms. As a result I will be staying at a different hotel and I advise everyone to do the same. The management of this hotel really needs to wake up and realize that Oyorooms is being advertised by Google as the official website for this hotel and is costing them untold amounts of customers.

The hotel is strategically located in the city center, and the area is lively and beautiful. It's close to bus and tram stops, the train station, Primark supermarket, and several parks. The most important feature, after the location, is the air conditioning. I don't recommend the breakfast, especially since there are halal sandwich shops around the area.
