this is one of the much better Premier Inns from the city Centre and feels very updated and new. There weren’t any bad smells in the corridors unlike other locations and it’s really close to Picadilly even though it’s on a bit of a back street.

Great price for a Friday Saturday night stay. Great location right next to the train station easy walk into town. Right from dropping our bags to checking out the customer service was excellent. Clean room, bathroom looked brand new. The social around the bar and lobby lovely relaxing place to sit with a drink and watch the world go by. We were very late to breakfast on the Saturday just before finishing, no problem. As a chain there policy for people with coeliac disease is cook the breakfast separately from the buffet, that morning as it was nearing the end of service they cooked us both fresh breakfasts. I had the allergy menu both mornings. My tablet was wiped again as I sat down fresh cutlery was brought out. On asking butter from the kitchen was brought, so it want cross contaminated from being near the toaster and bread on the buffet. Lovely friendly breakfast staff. High quality bacon toast properly toasted as requested. So nice to enjoy my breakfast knowing it had been prepped separately the staff explained the wait and happy re this just relax and enjoyed a coffee. Lots of choice from the buffet from my friend and she enjoyed her breakfast. What stood out was the communication from the staff with guest and each other. Everyone was so lovely and they all seemed to enjoy working there. Every member of staff from cleaning to maintenance acknowledge you. The bar service was great. You can access extra towels tea coffee iron etc from a room on the found floor with your room key.Definitely staying again couldn't recommend enough as a base for exploring Manchester. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, clean with friendly staff and great restaurant experience as someone with coeliac disease.

As usual for Premier inn, good value for money, comfortable rooms and food locations, right where you need to be. Good overall hotel. Quiet, comfortable and easy to get to and from.

Terrible stay, absolutely zero soundproofing! Avoid this hotel! My room was a connecting room with the one next door, separated only by two internal doors. This meant there was absolutely NO soundproofing whatsoever! I could hear every single thing happening next door crystal clear. Past midnight, the guests next door were still talking loudly without any consideration, and making a massive racket packing their luggage. The clanking and banging noises were so loud it felt like they were smashing things right next to my bed! It was completely impossible to get any sleep. If you want a good night's rest, stay away from this hotel, or make absolutely sure you do not get a connecting room. Highly NOT recommended!
