Workers are always lovely, helped us keep the same room when we had an awkward booking so we didn’t have to move our stuff

The location is not central but it isn't far from the train or tram stops and is pretty near a decent selection of bars and restaurants. The air conditioning in the rooms was poor but the bed was comfortable and the shower was decent, it wasn't an awful night's sleep. The breakfast service is what really let this hotel down, however. A forty minute wait for beans and longer for the sausages, with only kitchen and cleaning staff on duty. They had clearly not been trained in customer services or conflict management and merely told the growing number of frustrated guests to 'just eat something else'. When I asked for a refund to get breakfast elsewhere I was told there was no manager or deputy manager working on site to sanction this. Not having a manager on site on a Saturday morning in a busy city is simply unacceptable, imagine if the grievance had been more serious! I certainly wouldn't risk staying here again.

Budget by name, budget by nature. The clues in the name. Booked this hotel last minute while travelling with work. Very basic but clean. Great location, adjacent to the arena and a short taxi ride in to the city centre. Parking is an extra £9 with limited spaces. Vending machine at reception. Not much else to say.

Very convenient and close to staying up..... For the weekend and tournament and taking a part of.

The rooms are very clean. Toilet is seperate from shower pod. Basin is in the room. Sleeps 3 people with a single bed above double. No socket at side of bed which is a problem for me as I have a res med needs to be plugged in while I sleep. (I recommend to bring a extension lead.) Towels and shower gel provided. I would just say a basic clean room. (Look at my pictures.) Handy to bus stop for Meadowhall etc. Parking is over £8:00 for guests.

An okay budget hotel. Fantastic location if you’re visiting Sheffield Arena or the surrounding area. Less than a ten minute walk to the tram stop to take you into central Sheffield. Staff were friendly and check in was simple. Rating lowered by the rooms which were basic, hard beds, a weird smell and cramped bathroom with no extras (such as no shower gel in our dispenser). Fine for a flying visit, but definitely on the ‘budget side!’

A budget hotel in Sheffield with ample, convenient parking (paid on site). A simple, affordable breakfast is offered each morning. We stayed in a room with a bunk bed for a child—convenient and practical for families. A kettle and hairdryer are available in the room upon request. Overall, a comfortable option, especially if you're traveling by car and looking for an affordable place to stay for one or two nights.
