Roker Hotel, BW Premier Collection

Brilliant hotel, lovely room, very comfortable bed. Nice & clean rooms. Great Breakfast, best location right next to the beach 😎. Only 1 thing I would have to say, need to make sure there is a member of staff at the bar, and not having to go to reception to get someone to serve. 98% would have been 100% if I didn't have to looks for barstaff.

Fantastic hotel, great staff and amazing food! Highly recommend in all aspects! Ate in the restaurant 4 times and the food was delicious! The beds are so comfy, the shower was really good too! Blake at reception really helped me out in a printing some documents I urgently needed! Great value for money!

Booked in at the Roker Hotel for 14th and 15th of May 2026. Only stayed the one night because it was so bad! Put a complaint in at reception for the GM to contact us and they have not even bothered to get in touch, which says a lot for this hotel. The room we had was an Executive suite, which was tired, small and basic, the photos on the website make it look far bigger than they actually are. Even with heating off and window open, it was too hot to sleep, waking up with a dry mouth and unable to breath properly all night, my wife had the same issue. The pipes are also noisy, when someone used the toilet and showers in a different room, the noise would wake us up again. In the morning, we spoke to reception, who was really helpful. She did change our room for us but the new room was in the attic and tiny, barely big enough to have a bed in and clautrophobic. We refused to stay after lodging the complaint. As I said earlier, still no reply from the hotel, i know they received it because I was CC'ed into the complaint.

We didn't stay but were there for a function. The location is lovely, just across the the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good.

After staying here years ago in the executive rooms, we booked to come back, for 2 nights We were put in a small room which needed decorating and even the coffee cups were dirty. Everytime the room next door put the water on through the night it woke us up (the pipes were so loud) it was very muggy even with the window open. We asked to change rooms which after an hour they give us a tiny room up a other flight of stairs (no lift it was like going into the attic) We left and just come home. Still waiting on management to contact us this was Saturday. Will definitely stick to the Seaburn Inn.

Service at breakfast left a lor to be dasired

Stayed here a few months ago and despite booking in advance we were given a small room under the stairs with constant noise through the night. The worst part is we couldn’t even get a response afterwards to acknowledge our complaints despite follow ups. Also went back for another wedding last night and the kids chicken nuggets were pink and raw, after taking them to the “manager” he just took the plates away without so much as an apology. Avoid!!

Terrible experience at this hotel. High pressure noisy water pipe system kept me awake all night long. I complained to the manager and not even a call back or email. Booking.com contacted them and they refused to offer any compensation or acknowledgement what so ever. The manager clearly has no understanding of customer service. A very dissatisfied customer.

Front wall dropping to bits with old signs, keep it smart, traditional and costal, hopefully gets repaired and painted Visit regular and always good
