Parada do Orgulho LGBT+ de Manaus

The Parada do Orgulho LGBT+ de Manaus is the Amazon capital's annual Pride parade and one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in northern Brazil, drawing an estimated 20,000 people. First held around 2001, it takes place in late September, with a concentration at Praça da Saudade in Centro followed by a march along Avenida Constantino Nery. It is organized by the Instituto da Diversidade do Amazonas and combines celebration with activism for LGBTQ+ rights in the Amazon region.
