I loved the hotel! From the WhatsApp service with Maria to Fani, who works at the café and is a sweetheart. All the staff are very kind. The hotel is quite small and charming, super well located in Getsemani, very close to bars and restaurants, but the street where the hotel is located is very quiet and you couldn't hear the noise from parties in the room. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the historic center; I was alone and felt very safe walking there and back. The room is great and the breakfast is delicious! You choose a dish and a drink from Café San Antonio, which belongs to the hotel. I highly recommend the stay!

Very welcoming boutique hotel in the middle of Getsemani.

One of the best hotels we stayed at on our trip to Colombia without a doubt. The staff is very friendly. They only have 4 rooms so the atmosphere is very quiet and familiar. It is very well maintained, clean and with small details that make you feel very comfortable. The rooms and bathroom have a simple and modern air with good taste. We were able to sleep perfectly at night, in fact it is one of the first hotels where we have had a restful rest. The location is perfect, a few meters from Plaza Trinidad de Getsemaní. Finally, the a la carte breakfast is delicious, it is prepared on the spot and is delicious. I recommend it without a doubt!

Staying here was an excellent decision. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the thoughtful touches in the welcome kit. Despite being in a busy area, the nights are peaceful and we slept very well. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom with a skylight is a real treat. The pool, while not very large, is perfect for cooling off. It's very easy to get anywhere in Getsemaní or downtown from here, and it's also relatively close to Bocagrande. Breakfast is included at Café San Antonio, located within the hotel, which is beautiful, delicious, and the service is excellent. A perfect stay and highly recommended.

Best breakfast of Cartagena!

We unfortunately had to change our plans a few days ahead of our stay. We had booked through Booking.com and were past the cancellation date. However, Casa Jaguar told us to proceed with the cancellation and that they would reimburse us if they were able to fill the room, which seemed fair. I went ahead with the cancellation, and then kept an eye on Booking. The hotel sold out for the 3 nights we were supposed to spend there, so they were in fact able to fill the rooms, but refused to give us even a partial refund. They then stopped responding to my messages. I understand we were late to cancel, but some honesty would have been appreciated after they promised to refund if they filled the rooms.

What a lovely find! Casa Jaguar was the most amazing hotel for me in Cartagena. Centrally located, but with a quiet street to sleep well, high-quality rooms but the most special is: its team. Every person working at Casa Jaguar is attentive, kind, helpful and just lovely. I was traveling solo and felt really well taken care of. I would always come back to Casa Jaguar!

Absolutely incredible stay. From the delicious breakfasts, to the friendly service to the clean rooms our time at Casa Jaguar was exceptional. We’d recommend this to friends in a heart beat. We particularly loved the plunge pool to cool off during the hot day and the quiet location a block away from the bustling street.

Wonderful. I was very satisfied with my stay at Casa Jaguar. I stayed at the hotel in May 2024 and had forgotten to leave a review, but I can't help but share my experience. The staff is perfect! Very friendly and helpful, ready to assist with anything needed. The breakfast is extraordinary, easily one of the best I've ever had. The rooms are beautiful and very clean, befitting a boutique hotel. The small pool is great for cooling off at the end of a long day walking under the strong Cartagena sun. Well located in the Getsemani neighborhood, a colorful and vibrant area, and a short walk from the city center. I would definitely stay at Casa Jaguar again when visiting Cartagena.

This is a fantastic little hotel! Our room was perfectly comfortable, but the pool and breakfast were the definite highlights. All of the staff were incredibly warm and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the hotel, super quiet and excellent service. The breakfast is spectacular—the arepas, the burrito, the pancakes, everything.
