Excellent experience at Hotel Casa Lola Deluxe. Perfect welcome from Gabriela Areyano, very professional and warm. The salmon and avocado salad was excellent. I highly recommend it! 👍

Jason and the staff at Casa Lola were wonderful, from the moment we stepped into the beautiful hotel through checking out. The hotel is charming, decorated impeccably, and had the most outstanding service. The suite we were in was spacious and kept cool during the hot Colombian climate. The location is also within walking distance to all of the main neighborhoods. Will definitely be returning and staying here again.

Yeison Medrano and the rest of the staff were all absolutely great. The place has an incredible collection of art and the decor is amazing.

The hotel is very comfortable, close to the event center, and the service is wonderful! Jason Madrazo is very friendly! The food is also delicious.

Avoid room 12 at the basement being next to the noisy restaurant , very small room, no windows . No hot water for the shower . Only positive comment is the friendly guy at the reception . If you want to rest , do not select Casa Lola .

Top location! The decor is stylish and baroque. The rooms are sorely lacking in soundproofing. Between the noise of guests passing by and the paper-thin walls, the hubbub from the restaurant on the ground floor and the music from the rooftop only brings peace and quiet late into the night. On the other hand, the hotel is really well located in the heart of Gestsemani and its artists' quarter. Our room was adequate, but the bathroom was dimly lit, making it less than ideal for applying makeup. Given the stairs and the charming walkway over small pools, it is strongly advised against having a room on the upper floor for people with reduced mobility or hip problems. The rooftop is lovely at sunset, with several wading pools, daybeds, and sofas around a bar and a DJ blasting music!

Wonderful place

We had an amazing stay at Casa Lola. From the delicious restaurant to the beautiful rooms, I definitely recommend a stay here. The service was great especially Jailer at the front desk who was so helpful and welcoming. Everyone remembered us throughout our stay and always greeted us in passing. The rooms were beautiful a den they even upgraded us for free which was an amazing surprise that added to our experience. The only thing travelers should be aware of is that it is located in a very lively area. The bars are very loud from 12-4 am and it was often hard to sleep because of the loud music at night. That being said, that is not the fault of the hotel and just the burden of staying so close to all the action in Cartagena. Everything is within 5 minutes walk which is both a blessing and a curse. Despite the loud music I would still recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and beautiful place to stay with amazing staff and a great restaurant just downstairs from your room.

Just got back after a weeks stay and found the experience wonderful. Any little issue was handled quickly and without any burden. The staff was phenomenal and they dealt with my lack of Spanish in a very respectful and patient manner which I appreciated greatly. Stayed in the Presidential Suite and it was beautiful along with the great terrace to relax on taking in the city’s vibes. The rooftop is amazing along with the uniqueness of the whole interior of the hotel. The restaurant is phenomenal and morning breakfast in the courtyard was peaceful. I’m an avid traveler who prefers high end hotels and will honestly say Casa Lola did not disappoint at all. Thank you to the staff for recommendations on places I should run, purchase specific items and arranging of transportation to personal requests.

Lola Hotel is a true hidden gem in the heart of Getsemaní. Cozy yet undeniably luxurious, it sits right in the center of the neighborhood’s most vibrant street, while still feeling intimate and serene the moment you step inside. Every corner of the hotel is thoughtfully crafted, filled with beautiful details and small stories expressed through art pieces, textures, and design. It feels less like a hotel and more like a curated experience. The room was exceptional, comfortable, elegant, and perfectly designed for rest after exploring Cartagena. We were also graciously offered a few extra hours for checkout, which made the stay feel even more personal and generous. A special mention to Yeison and Kelly, whose service and attention to detail were truly outstanding. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, they made us feel welcome from the first moment and ensured everything was flawless throughout our stay. Lola is not just a place to sleep, it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for character, comfort, and top-tier service in Getsemaní.

A place outside of time. For me, it's by far the most beautiful hotel in Getsemaní. Nothing has been left to chance: the decor is meticulously designed, down to the smallest detail, and you feel right at home. And the rooftop with the pools… simply magical. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was great, excellent service, super friendly, excellent location, but the room had a very complicated staircase to get to the bed
