Puno has no gay bar, club or regular queer night, and we found none in Puno or Juliaca when we checked in October 2026. The places older lists call gay bars here are ordinary pubs and clubs, or event halls: Google's Spanish category "local de ambiente" means a hall for weddings and parties, and automatic imports read it as a gay venue.

For a drink, the pedestrian Jirón Lima between the Plaza de Armas and Parque Pino has mixed tourist bars and restaurants. Most close early, and the cold at 3,827 m empties the streets by midnight. A small Pride march has been held in some years in late June; see our Puno guide.
