I recently stayed over there with my pet , and would really recommend every person with their pet they gave us the last room They had , and really appreciate Amit’s work for us . Great place to stay 👍👍

I am really quite disappointed with our experience attempting to book a room for two nights for our family of four for August 14th and 15th 2026. I called The Tonquin Inn (starting) on January 2nd 2026 to book our family into a two double or two queen room and was told by the front desk manager (I will leave the individual's name out but I do know who it is in case the owner would like to know as I have had many conversations with this person over several months) that the summer availability was not open yet and to call back in two weeks. Not only did I call back two weeks later to receive the same story, I called back consistently for months, only to find out every time that they not able (willing?) to book my family in for these two nights over the phone. I also consistently checked online during these months, but queen bed and double bed room availability was not visible/accessible. When I was finally able to see the rooms posted online for August, only one night (August 14th) was available. When I again called the manager to share my utter confusion and frustration, the message was for me to continue to go online and call in case something becomes available on August 15th. I don't understand why, when I began attempting to book online and via phone as of January 2nd 2026, this occurred. I am disheartened and disappointed that despite hours of my time being dedicated to trying to book these dates over several months, the final leg of our summer trip will be shortened due to factors out of my control. I would have appreciated the manager booking us in to two nights on the dates we requested immediately, saving me precious time, energy, and disappointment. I believe this to be a reasonable and straightforward ask. If this is the service industry, who is this behaviour/practice serving? Certainly not us.

We were greeted warmly and with a smile. We spent two nights here. The room was clean and tidy. We had two beds. Unfortunately, there was a rather strange smell in the room. We opened the window, but it didn't help much. We also had a partition door, which I didn't like at all. There were towels in various sizes, a little shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Breakfast wasn't provided; it was self-catering. The rooms are very, very noisy; you can hear absolutely everything. There is plenty of parking, and it's free.

Great service and well maintained suites! We had a wonderful stay and you made my son happy with his little surprise in the room. Thank you so much!

A nice well equipped motel in Jasper

I would rate this place a 3.5 out of 5. Stayed overnight on our trip back to Manitoba. Check in was quick and staff were friendly. Found a cheaper price online and they matched it. Room was clean but a little dated. There was a portable AC that kept us comfortable as the room was on the warm side when we arrived. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, we all had a great sleep. The outdoor hot tub was a nice feature. We arrived late so didn’t get to enjoy the pool and sauna but it looked clean and inviting. This property is located at the edge of the town, if it was nicer when we were there the walk would not have bothered us but it was overcast, chilly and drizzly so we drove to the shops. Overall a nice stay.

Nice people, clean rooms. We got upgraded to suite room for free.

Our room on the first floor was very dark and uninviting. Kitchen was equipped with plates and cutlery but was missing basics for cooking like oil, salt etc. It was also tricky to find a car park and I think each room should come with a dedicated space. Other than that, it was clean, tidy, the pool area was great and the staff at the front desk were lovely.

Jennifer was extremely helpful when we encountered an error when booking through a third party. Very professional staff and good value for money.
