A really great spot with lots of activities (corn hole, bocce ball, fire pits, sauna), and the service was amazing - Ethan was the best!

We spent a night at the Penny Motel and truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we got there we were greeted by friendly helpful staff, the room was spotless with everything you needed for a night away. Staff was able to recommend local hikes and places to eat. It was minutes away from the waterfront and a stones throw away from the Thornbury brewery, access to bike trails and a fantastic sauna right by the room. We will 100% be staying here again and hopefully get to try the restaurant, thanks again Kathrine and Moe for the hospitality you guys were awesome!
Brought my little sisters here for a belated birthday girls weekend away and we absolutely LOVED it. The vibes are cozy, yet fun. The room was SO pretty and there was so much to do! The motel is close enough to blue mountain village and collingwood, and has tons of cute shops and restaurants nearby. We will most definitely be back. We spent lots of time out and about doing things because it was raining, but next time we want to have a staycation and spend our time enjoying the amenities Penny’s offers and bring my pup with us! 10/10 experience.
We chose Penny's for an overnight stay as we had come to spend the afternoon at Scandinave Spa down the road. Penny's is conveniently just a 10 - 15 minute trip from Collingwood, which has all of your daily wants and needs available. Penny's clearly aims to embody a cozy, cottage-core vibe and they absolutely succeed at that! When we first entered the room we were greeted by a handwritten note on the bed welcoming us to our experience, which was super cute! The rooms are incredibly clean and well-maintained. The room itself definitely embodied the cozy vibe. The bedding is incredibly comfortable. The bathroom also has heated floors to make it easier on your feet post-waterfall shower! They also have a smart TV available in room if you wanted to stream anything from your personal streaming accounts. Most of the communication was handled via text, making communication incredibly fast and easy. We did pop our head into the office/bar combo at the end of the evening to ask about using the fire pit, as we were also given a complimentary smores kit for two. It made a wonderful fireside treat :) Check out the following morning was also similarly simple, just dropping a text to let them know we were headed out. Overall, I would easily recommend Penny's to someone looking to stay overnight near the Collingwood area. They are reasonably-priced and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. 5/5! We had the best time and experience at Penny’s Motel. Every aspect of our stay from check in to check out was so personable. Catherine, the owner, went above and beyond for us. We highly recommend a stay at Penny’s and dining at their bar/lounge Apres. We will be back!
