Penny's Motel & Apres

Best surprise birthday weekend spent at this super cool upscale boutique “motel”. Customer service and the vibe at this place was second to none. Strongly recommended!

I don’t even know where to start the Penny’s Team is top-notch.. i felt so pampered. I was taken care of from first inquiry to final thank you email. They are so on top of things and so accommodating. The food! The food: 5 stars won’t say what I had because it changes with pop up chefs on the regular. Get your surprise on! The rooms are so cozy with so many added items .. my fav: heated floors in the bathroom and free snacks waiting for when you arrive. Add to that all the outdoor games, fit pits and sauna! Thank you for such a great experience. Very Canadian!❤️

We chose Penny's Motel for a mini getaway from the city after seeing a social media post about how dog friendly they are. They did not disappoint!!! We arrived on a very cold and rainy day, which was a bit of a bummer but we were greeted warmly by Catherine despite being earlier than expected. In our beautiful King room there were some goodies awaiting us and our pup! We had a cozy night in and ordered some food which was brought to us very quickly by Apres. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the heated patio for some cocktails but we definitely will next time. The sauna was lovely and we were able to have a very brief fire before it started raining again. The grounds was so cute and we will definitely be back to enjoy it in nicer weather. Catherine made us feel so welcome and the service was top notch! Can't wait to visit again (and maybe plan that Corgi party!) - Jodie, Phil & Marmalade

Penny’s is a really special motel, easily the loveliest experience I’ve ever had. Thought and intention has been put into all aspects, the heated floors in the bathroom are particularly appreciated. The staff is so friendly, I can’t wait to come back.

We had a great overnight stay. The rooms at very clean and extremely comfortable. The code machine, snacks and warm bathroom floor weigh me over :)

This place has that warm small town quirky feel that makes you so glad you came. When I hear "motel" my instinct is "lower end" than what we experienced at Penny's. Super comfy bed, great room, and super friendly staff. Catherine was lovely and very accommodating. The sauna was also nice and hot. So happy we found this gem!

I would rate 100/10 if I could. Stay was amazing. Staff was so accommodating and personable. Katherine (Catherine?) was wonderful. The sauna was so hot and we roasted marshmallows on the fire. They provided us excellent recommendations for restaurants and hiking in the area as well. We are already in discussion for a future trip:)

Not only is Penny's adorable, but the staff are top notch! We received a personalized welcome card in the room, and staff popped by as soon as we arrived to provide an additional welcome and share some tips. Beda are super comfy and the amenities are top notch. I can't wait to visit again during the summer

This Motel has a Cool Vibe 😎 decorated nicely. The bar with small restaurant on the property was great. Ethan was the bartender with the 2 girls did an exceptional job. They were a well oiled wheel. Busy but kept a smile on their faces.
