The Community Center (TCC)

The Community Center (TCC) is Boise's LGBTQ+ community hub, serving the greater Treasure Valley and southwestern Idaho. Founded in 1983, it is the region's longest-running LGBTQ+ organization and its only dedicated community center, providing a welcoming space where locals and visitors can connect.

TCC runs a full weekly calendar of support and social programming, including youth groups such as Clutch and the QSA teen group, transgender and neurodivergent-affirming meetups, LGBTQ+ recovery meetings, book clubs, and creative gatherings. It also offers resources around health, HIV/STI prevention, and referrals, and hosts community meetings on Orchard Street. For travelers, TCC is the best first point of contact for what's happening in queer Boise during a visit.
