It may sound like "Waikiki Beach," but the original Waikiki Beach was around Moana Surfrider and Royal Hawaiian, and in turn changed its name to Kuhio Beach and Queens Beach on the east side. The easternmost beach, Waikiki Beach, closest to Kapiolani Park, is this Queez Beach. Hula and concert events take place on Waikiki's beaches in the evenings, but many venues often take place on this Queens beach. America 250, the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, was also taking place here, and it was very crowded.
Great part of the Waikiki beach strip and during summer they screen free movies at night. Well worth a visit and the wall provides a good spot to watch the boogie boarders, the sunset or fireworks
One of the best beaches, you can bring your snorkeling equipment and see some fish and coral life. Water is clear blue very beautiful
Wonderful beach. Incredible views. Beautiful sunsets. Sunday nights quite often you can watch local firedancers. Peaceful and relaxing. They just installed a new Boulder with a plaque commemorating waikikis long involvement with lgbtq+ mahu. Mentions about early participation in parades in the 70s. As well as organizations that have been instrumental in ongoing development of the history of hawaiin culture.
On this beach it is as if they had put a large mound of sand and it is rich in this part of the beach. Although there is a no-surfing sign, there are people surfing. The interesting thing is that there are two volleyball courts and you can play with the people who gather there.
We enjoy this Beach. People Surfing and Learning to Surf. a nice Swimming Beach. A Great Place to Drink Ice Cold Beer. We have visited here several times.
This is the quintessential hawaiian beach. surfing and snorkels and kids and beautiful people. perfect spot to relax with some kind of drink in hand.
It's a relatively uncrowded, laid-back beach in the back of Waikiki, to the southeast. It's a good way to relax in the background of Waikiki.
This beach and park area were named after the Queen of Hawaii. It is walking distance to many of the hotels at the end of Waikiki. So it was very easy to get to from our hotel (Hyatt Place) and not a long walk for our grand daughters aged 3 and 5. They loved it when the waves came up to their ankles on the beach. Also, it was fun watching the surfers on the ocean and local boys diving from the wall into the water. Sun sets were amazing over the water!
Beautiful warm water, great people watching and the music from the near by water wall pergola added to the holiday atmosphere. Next time, however, I would bring some beach shoes for the coral that lies below.
