Folks who work here are nice, so no shade to them in any of the below. My company ponied up $400/night for a regular room and it just doesn't feel very commensurate. Rooms feel 3-star - weird little things added up like barely any towel racks, bad lighting, very basic. First floor music is so loud all day that you can't do anything in a public space at all. Pool area is nice with a lot of seating. Area is very office-heavy without much to do in the evenings.

Overrated. Checked ✔️ in all good but the parking is not convenient unless you pay valet. Self parking is around the corner in a completely different parking garage. Then tried to go to pool. Find out you need a special wristband to get in the pool and your room key will not suffice. Then went to the front desk to get the wristbands and they would not give them to me since I did not have an ID on me (why would I bring my ID to a pool) and the room was in my wife’s name. I presented them the CC on file and the room key, but still no. Had to get the wife out of her conference to get us the wristbands to swim in the pool of the hotel we paid to stay in. Then the QR code on their room service menu does not work. Another inconvenience. I understand you are a downtown location with a lot of people coming and going, but this should not inconvenience paying customers. I recommend to avoid this location. I have had a better experience at the La Quinta.

This hotel is very large and offers beautiful views of Discovery Green. I really enjoyed the convenience of having several restaurants and bars on-site. The highlight of the property is definitely the pool on the 6th floor, which alone makes the stay worthwhile. The hotel has the potential to be a true 5-star experience, but it falls short when it comes to attention to detail. For example, my bed was not made to the standard I would expect from a hotel of this category. On the positive side, the hosts and front desk staff did a great job welcoming guests and providing a warm farewell. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but I believe a little more focus on the small details would elevate the experience from very good to truly exceptional.

Pool Music stayed on too late too loud. After 10 PM. Pool music started at 8 AM. Ridiculous. Self Parking literature shows 50 dollars. We were charged 84 dollars for less than 24 hours. Again ridiculous. Ate at Biggios, had fries with chicken as an appetizer. Bit down on a hard piece of plastic in the dish. Showed the waiter and all he said was I’ll show the kitchen. Didn’t a fresh plate or anything. Not a good experience. Overall not a great experience

This is my first time at this place. The staff and service are great, the food was excellent.

The worst hotel stay I’ve had in 20+ years. The staff, except for 1 waiter - Phillip - who is great, was exceptionally rude & seemed to be bothered at any basic request. We booked 2 adjoining rooms w/2 queen beds each via phone to ensure this arrangement. We arrived & were told that option doesn’t exist. Ultimately, we were placed in adjoining rooms w/2 queens in 1 & a king in the other. It wouldn’t have been so annoying if they didn’t act like we were jerks for being surprised & asking them to accommodate us since we had 3 small children. That change took 40+ minutes at check in. They charge you for everything & force a $25 per diem for food & drink that they don’t automatically apply to your room. They charged all of our food & drink to ONE room, so they got their extra $25 for no services rendered on the second room. Both rooms were under a single reservation. Rooms are mediocre, AC doesn’t work properly (said 68 & felt more like 75 no matter how much we adjusted it), the elevators are loud & sound like they need servicing, pillows have no form, we eventually got bandaids sent up to us after being told to come down to the front desk for 1 available bandaid & to return for a second later. Bags weren’t removed from my car upon arrival & I was ignored by most of the female staff. I used to get kinder service at motels when I worked oilfield services in Shreveport, LA & that’s saying something. Our coffee maker was broken in the room & I assumed there would be a coffee in the lobby. There’s not & the solution offered to me was to go buy a coffee from Starbucks or Texas Tea. One front desk employee (also male) finally offered to pour a cup from the back. Thank you, sir. The pool was closed for excessive periods of time with no clear evacuation plan when the rain started. They opened ONE door for ALL of the guests at the pool to file through in the rain. Why not open multiple doors when you have no covered areas for your guests to stand under with their food & beverages? I’ve spent much more on hotel rooms & have never made a negative review like this. Quite honestly, I can handle the money grabs if I’m being treated well. But to feel disrespected and as if we’re a bother at the most basic requests makes one unable to enjoy any of the few things this hotel gets right. These are just the frustrations that come to mind in the moment… The food was decent. Spend your money elsewhere.

Excellent hotel and a great experience!

My husband and I checked in last month to celebrate his birthday, and Osinthia truly made the experience special. She was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and had such a warm, welcoming presence. As frequent travelers who have stayed at many hotels, we can honestly say we have rarely been greeted with the level of warmth and genuine hospitality that Osinthia showed us. We will definitely be returning and look forward to exploring the restaurants as well!

We stayed there for a work trip and felt like we were on vacation. The pool was incredible, especially the last friday of the month to enjoy the sound bath put on by their the spa. The woman that did the sound bath was amazing and provided just the healing we needed to start our day.
