Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa

We loved our stay at this historic inn in Laguna Beach. It was charming, quaint, and beautifully preserved while still offering modern comforts. The staff and service they provided was exceptional, far better than your typical hotel. We truly felt treated like royalty. The location was convenient to everything the area has to offer. Everything was lovely, and we can't wait to return.

Casa Laguna is a gem of a hotel and spa in laguna beach. My wife and I came here for the first time for our 9 year wedding anniversary the week before Christmas. We didn't realize what we were getting ourselves into (in a very positive way). We checked in at 5:00PM and Kent showed us to our room. All along the way he gave us a thorough history of Casa Laguna's place in Laguna Beach history. From the get-go, we felt so cared for - like family. The history, architecture and landscaping of the property was just wonderful and added a lot to our experience. Their service is what set apart Casa Laguna from other places we've stayed. It was exceptional. Their breakfast was delicious and a fantastic value. We cannot say enough about our stay here. Maybe it will be our annual anniversary trip. Thank you so much Casa Laguna team.

Fantastic boutique hotel to stay at while in Laguna Beach. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the rooms comfortable, and the staff accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast offering were all delicious as were the fresh baked cookies in the evenings. Bonus that there is a free Laguna trolley stop right in front that you can take to pretty much anywhere in town without having to bother with driving. My wife and I loved our weekend there and can’t wait to go back!

The service was exceptional from start to finish, truly some of the best I’ve experienced. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully done, and the complimentary cookies were sooo good. The ocean views were absolutely beautiful. Ken was especially kind and helpful and made the stay feel extra special. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate my birthday. Highly recommend.

This place gets our highest recommendation. It is an absolutely lovely property with a varied, compact landscape. Our charming Deluxe Ocean View room indeed had quite a water view considering it was on the other side of PCH, and it definitely made the most of its 200-plus square feet. The $37 optional resort fee is the biggest no-brainer in the history of hospitality. For starters, you get free parking behind the hotel (stalls of various sizes, two EV chargers, plus A/C outlets and outdoor spaces). But the key selling point is the five-course breakfast brought to your table, and you can order seconds, thirds, etc. If this is what breakfast is like, I imagine lunch must be mighty impressive. As for beach access, we wanted to catch the sunset, so we dashed across the highway and went down Victoria to the stairs. If you’re not pressed for time, then do the hotel’s suggested route along Solana and take the underpass. As a bonus, they serve cookies in the afternoon. About the only drawback was the shower water took a while to warm up, and if you want to step out your door and hit the shopping district, then you should stay closer to town. But if you did that, you wouldn’t be getting five-star amenities at a three-star price.
