Lexington Pride Center

The Lexington Pride Center is the hub of LGBTQ+ community life in central Kentucky, run by the Pride Community Services Organization (PCSO) — the nonprofit formerly known as the Gay and Lesbian Services Organization, founded in 1977. Based at 389 Waller Avenue near the University of Kentucky, it offers meeting and event space, support groups, a lending library, and health and social resources for the region's queer community. PCSO also produces the annual Lexington Pride Festival, the city's largest LGBTQ+ celebration, held each spring in downtown Lexington.
