Spent a night here but AC wasn’t working. They tried to fix it but looked like they were already aware of this problem but still put us in this room. They eventually gave us a fan to get through the night heat. Really poor service. The receptionist checking us in also didn’t care while checking us in or when we let them know of the AC issue. Will not stay here again.

Overall a decent stay. Room was clean, location pretty good. Biggest issue is parking. The garage is an incredibly tight series of self-park lifts and no staff. It’s only possible to drive onto the lifts directly straight but there’s virtually no space to maneuver your car to actually get straight. Moreover the width of the lifts leave literally zero room for error (see photo of our wheels). We live in a big city and are used to tight parking garages but this was another level and not really acceptable to ask guests to do. For $65/night, you need a valet to park cars.

This hotel is definitely not 4 star. The stay was so awful that we cut our trip short from 3 nights to 1 night. It was horrible from the beginning. The receptionist at the front desk was immediately nasty to us and made no eye contact. She had AirPods in the entire time talking to her as if she did not care to listen. She was dismissive and short. She was on the phone and answering calls while checking us in. And - she was eating at the front desk. It seems like the place is poorly managed and they are highly understaffed. Despite her behavior, we went on our way up to the room after she gave the keys. The elevator to the left had 2 missing tiles and someone could easily get caught and fall. That’s a law suit waiting to happen. The fifth floor was missing the numbers and arrows to show which way our room was. So we just had to guess whether to turn right and hope for the best. The carpets in the hallway were disgusting. Old gum and stains all along the pathway to our room. The hallway smelled of garbage and BO. The room appeared clean from what we could tell at first glance. The shower towels had stains and miscellaneous hairs. My dad was getting in bed and felt something cold and wet at his feet. I told him it’s probably the coldness from the sheets. We removed the comforter and saw this big water stain. We had no idea how it got there or where it was from. We called down and the lady said she will call the engineer? We just went with it. The engineer showed up and he didn’t speak English. I pulled up Google Translate to communicate with this guy who just gave us a new pair of sheets and left so that we could put them on ourselves. $600 a night and we have to change the dirty sheets the hotel gave us? We were so disappointed and disgusted we went down to talk to the receptionist like something needed to be done. No manager or housekeepers were there this is like 10:30PM. Google does say this is 4 star hotel so??? The front desk lady said the keeper men will come up to our room and change the sheets. We went back up and the man said no I won’t do it and tried to give my mom another new set of sheets for her to change. My parents woke up at 4 am this morning to fly and help me move into my new spot in Brooklyn and this was their first impression of it. Terrible. We will never recommend this hotel or stay in this hotel ever again. It isn’t clean, it’s not cheap, the management is disorganized and unhelpful. I’m extremely disappointed and completely unsatisfied.

Called hotel directly to CONFIRM our reservation because we were arriving super early the next day and our room was for the night before. Only to show up at the hotel with them saying marked as no show and there was nothing they could do to give us a room. Horrible hotel system and management. What’s the point of calling to confirm reservation when they’re not doing the one thing they said they would.

Awful experience at this hotel. For the amount of money paid the front desk staff and service is unacceptable. I was unfortunately booked at the hotel for work. Touring with a large party block. Maybe because my reservation was booked as a stand alone I was given poor treatment. I arrived very early and went to the front desk to verify my reservation and inquire on the early check in process as I wanted to request the next rooms available to be able to check in. Woman at the check in was blatantly rude and seemed bothered I asked her to do her job. She didn't want to assist me. I have worked and stayed at many hotels and am more than aware of the many early check in process and limitations. I couldn't even ask her to change the card on file everything was like pulling teeth. I expressed I will check back in closer to 1pm to see if a room would be available and was willing to pay any fee. She was of no assistance. Calling the hotel no one answers the phone and there seems to be no customer service standard to assist. Not worth the $1,500 stay.

This is the absolute worst hotel in NY and it’s mainly because of the awful service. No one has been helpful from the moment I called in advance to confirm my reservation to the time I actually arrived at the hotel and even after. I called asking for an early check in or possibly to book a room for the night before so I wouldn’t have to worry about checking in late since I was arriving overnight and they told me no one was physically there to create my reservation because they were gone for the day. When I did arrive at 6 am, this morning the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and told me it was no way for me to check in early but it wasn’t what she said it was how she said it. Very rude, very pessimistic, and didn’t really want to help me. After we went back and forth for a bit she said it would cost $50 to check in early as if I didn’t have the money to do it to then turn around and say I couldn’t do it. I left and went to go book another hotel to sleep until my check in time at the Tillary but I wanted to note, these people are very rude, very nasty behavior and VERY DISMISSIVE. I’m not sure if it’s the NY vibes but she was straight up rude and I refuse to let that type of behavior in hospitality slide especially when I was a part of a larger group that spent well over 50k booking rooms for a group of around 50 just for 3 days. Awful service, won’t even consider staying here.

You might as well sleep on the street - that’s how loud the car noise is and how unclean the rooms are. The walls are paper thin and it sounds like sirens are inside the room all night long. Not to mention the subway shaking the building every 30 min. Stay elsewhere.

Enjoyed my stay here. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and met my basic needs but there was room for improvement.

This hotel is a bit bedraggled. It was probably very cute and hip when it opened but its decor has not been maintained and presents as a rundown facility. Rooms are fine, mostly clean. It was OK for two nights but to be honest I would have rather stayed at the Hampton Inn down the street.
