very exspencive for a long stay over charged for some things that got damaged but its a good guiet place to chill

First of all, the staff is fantastic. It is an amazing value. The proper is older but well maintained and very clean. Definitely be staying here next time.

We just stayed here for the weekend and I already can’t wait to come back. Mel, the front desk attendant (I’m sure she does way more than that) was so friendly and went out of her way to make us feel safe and welcome (we drove in during a tornado watch). The rooms and property were clean. No issues whatsoever. Would recommend the Thunderbird Lodge to anyone visiting Norman

I was traveling with my 65 pound dog who had never gone up stairs before. Mel, who runs the front desk was an absolute angel helping me teach Valor to navigate the stairs. She assisted me three times until I could coax him by myself. Room was very clean. The kitchen is stocked with a full size fridge, stove, microwave, and dishes and cutlery for two. Everything you need for an extended stay. The exterior is a work in progress, but beautiful landscaping ongoing. I would stay again. Mel is the BEST!

Really, I don’t know how to express how perfect and comfortable this stay was. It was everything the top ratings have shared come to fruition. Anyone familiar the tv show “The Good Place” might recognize a slight similarity in Mel, appearing instantly to attend any reasonable request. Everyone we met in conjunction with this place was friendly, natural and comforting. Also, I’m not sure that they even advertise that it is also free of artificial, chemical fragrances and unnecessary toxic cleaning agents. It is just plain clean and sanitized -no need to try to hide anything with imposed chemical fragrances. I have left items in other establishments, was led to believe that they could be returned, but that did not happen. I left without even panicking about that, this time, because I felt like it was highly likely that I would receive a communication informing me that they had found the item and were ready to accommodate returning it, before i even realized that i had left it behind.
