I really enjoyed the vibe of this place when I stopped in. It has a great authentic feel that makes it easy to relax for a couple of hours with a drink. The menu has plenty of classic options, and everything I ordered was served hot and tasted just right. It is a solid spot for a casual evening out, and I would definitely recommend it if you are in the mood for a friendly atmosphere and a good beer.
Hard to get to, no parking near by. And there is an unwritten rule that you do not drive on this street

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I saw an Anita Cocktail show at the cabaret. The show was fantastic first of all, but what was most incredible was the service. I am hard of hearing and my hearing aids broke down earlier in the day & I was nervous to go to a show I wasn’t sure I’d be able to hear. The staff was extremely accommodating to my disability & very kind about it. Thank you Crown&Anchor for being inclusive and making what could’ve been a stressful night for me an incredibly fun one!
This was our third time staying at the Crown & Anchor, and it was just as good as our previous visits. The rooms are charming, the staff is attentive and friendly, and if you're willing to spring for a room with a balcony, the views are unbeatable. There is a nightclub on the first floor, so just keep this in mind if you're a light sleeper. This hotel is very walkable too!
