The onsite manager Maddie was rude and not understanding for our circumstances. The hotel charged $10 per person for breakfast. The breakfast included only cold items such as yogurt, oats, cereal, and half a waffle. The room itself was nice with a nice view. Jada, one of the employees, was very helpful, excellent, and considerate of our situation. I cannot talk highly enough of her.

Bed was beyond comfortable and bathroom was super clean. The towels were very thick and soft. The hotel is also very quiet and the surrounding area is super quiet. I now found my hotel in Sioux Falls and can’t stay anywhere else!

This is hands down the hotel with the best environment I’ve stayed at throughout my entire trip from San Diego—so much so that even now, having already left the place, I still find myself missing it! It was quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable, with absolutely no unpleasant odors. It has completely raised my expectations for hotels in this price range, and I highly recommend that everyone stay here. The staff were warm and patient; they reached out to me right after I made my reservation to provide check-in details and to ensure I was having a comfortable stay. Since I had so much luggage, I didn't have the chance to take photos right when I checked in; I only managed to snap a few quick shots just before leaving—and I even missed capturing the massive floor-to-ceiling windows! All in all, the environment was incredibly comfortable, and if I ever pass through this area again in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here once more!

Very nice hotel, comfy beds, clean and really big windows.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Highpoint Hotel! The building itself is absolutely beautiful, and the atrium is truly stunning—such a peaceful, welcoming space from the moment you walk in. The bar and breakfast areas were spotless and so relaxing, which was exactly what we needed after a long, stressful day. Our room was just as impressive—clean, gorgeous, comfortable, and incredibly refreshing. But what really made our stay stand out was the people. Every single person we interacted with was phenomenal—kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their guests. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable experience!

Had a wonderful stay at Highpoint Hotel! The room was spotless, and it's clear this is a brand new property — everything felt fresh and modern. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was genuinely warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back!

I honestly could not recommend a hotel more. I actually think this hotel is the best one we’ve ever stayed at for many reasons. We got the hotel because my 10 month old was having brain surgery. It’s perfectly located between the surgery tower and the castle. Being able to just walk over to the surgery tower in the morning was amazing. We avoided having to get in and out of the car with a baby. The staff was honestly some of the most amazing we came across. All of them were so sweet to our daughter, and asking us how she was when we stayed an extra night after getting an early release from PICU. One of the maids (a man) really made us almost cry because he had gone through something similar with his own child and kept telling us he’s so happy she’s okay. This just made us feel so good about where we were staying. The cook was also amazing! The morning we were meant to go home he made our daughter her own waffle for us, and was so so sweet to her. The front desk staff talking to her/us. Honestly it felt so home like, they made us so comfortable during such a hard time. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL. The big windows are so relaxing and our daughter loves the outside so for her to be able to look out the entire time was amazing. It was extremely clean. The bed was SO comfortable - and to compare we have an adjustable bed at home so often hotels are so uncomfortable to us but this bed was almost more comfortable than ours. Our daughter is not a fan of people, a result in having to see so many doctors and people, but when we were checking out she waved “bye bye” to all the staff and I don’t think I can express how much that means coming from her. It goes to show they did a fantastic job at making even her feel welcomed!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient nearby parking. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Sioux Falls.

Just wanted to say a HUGE HUGE thank you to Melissa, Jessica, and the whole staff for helping us celebrate our 4th anniversary with room decorations and champagne and strawberries. What a wonderful and amazing surprise! Thank you SOOO much! All we did was mention it, and they did the rest. The room was SO clean too, and very big, with tall ceilings. We stayed in a King Room with Castle View. Highly recommend!

In February we came into town for a birthday and A newborn celebration with family stayed at High Point and was amazed at the cleanliness, quality of our room and service as well as the staff was attentive , friendly and accommodating… in March, we reserved a room through Expedia ..Expedia was not going to honor our refund even with the insurance purchased due to inclement weather however, Highpoint gave us a refund. We definitely give High Point a full 5 stars and will be staying there as we travel out west often.
