📸 Suggest PhotosDali Bar is located in Jabal al-Weibdeh ? one of Amman's oldest and most culturally distinctive neighbourhoods, known for its early 20th-century architecture, its art galleries, the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, and a social character that is arguably even more liberal and arts-oriented than Jabal Amman's Rainbow Street area. The bar draws from the neighbourhood's creative and intellectual community: artists, musicians, designers, writers, and the LGBTQ+-adjacent social circles that tend to cluster around arts communities in conservative countries. The atmosphere is artsy and unpretentious; the crowd skews young, educated and international in outlook. Like all LGBTQ+-tolerant spaces in Amman, Dali Bar carries no explicit LGBTQ+ branding and offers no visible identification as a queer space. The queer-friendly character is communicated through social networks and personal recommendation. It represents one of Amman's more comfortable environments for LGBTQ+ visitors who want a social space beyond the international hotel circuit. IMPORTANT: Jordan is hostile to LGBTQ+ people. Police entrapment via Grindr and other dating apps is documented. Exercise extreme discretion at all times. Do not use dating apps while in Jordan.
