Hotel is very very closed to BTS station 2 mins walk. I was so happy with Khun Ice who is taking care of me since checking in. She was so perfect in delivering the excellent service✨ Also, Khun Neeno who is on the night shift was so helpful in providing hangers and other services for me. Happy with Sora Hotel Silom 💗✨

The location is very convenient, with a variety of convenience stores, massage parlors, and snack shops, including authentic Thai cuisine. The downsides are that the rooms are relatively small and the soundproofing is poor; you can still hear traffic noise at night, so it might not be suitable for those sensitive to noise.

“I would like to offer a suggestion regarding the hotel lobby fragrance. I believe the current scent could be improved, as it feels too strong and overwhelming. Instead of creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere, it may cause headaches and discomfort for some guests. A lighter and more subtle fragrance could enhance the sense of elegance and help guests feel more relaxed and welcomed upon arrival.”

The past 19 years ( I am an expat living in another province btw) I usually stay in the Silom-Sathorn area when having a R&R BKK holiday. Since I am out & about shopping and sightseeing during the day time, I do not need a large, luxurious hotel packed with loud tour groups to stay in. 🙄 I simply need a clean, secure, basic, modern hotel with a comfortable bed that is close to the BTS ( skytrain). The Sora Hotel met my expectations. The small hotel is a few steps away to the escalator that reaches the ticket/ entrance platform at Chong Nonsi BTS station so you don’t have to walk on a narrow soi without a sidewalk or navigate yourself around pedestrians glued to their smartphones while walking. The skytrain station is a couple stops away from the Thaksin- Sathorn Pier which is Bangkok’s main Chao Phraya River transit hub. Chong Nonsi BTS station is also 1 stop away from Sala Daeng BTS station where you can catch the underground MRT “blue line” that takes you to Chinatown and near the museum, flower market, Wat Pho in “old town” (20 minutes MRT ride) Lumpini Park is also next to Sala Daeng station which will add some nature and exercise to your itinerary. In the past I have stayed at I- Residence and Heritage hotels which are also across from the BTS station but these two hotels are now showing wear and tear, ( and the staff seems very lethargic). 🥺 Sora Hotel staff is energetic, friendly and welcoming 👍🏽 BTW the Chong-Nonsi BTS area is away from the drunk tourist scene. During the day this section of Bangkok is busy with office workers rushing to work in Sathorn’s “Wall Street” financial district of Thailand. In the evening it’s more quiet; however, Silom street can offer some interesting night life including the Patpong Night Market. ( 15-20 minute walk) Sora Hotel does not offer breakfast but there is “The Coffee Club” (5 minute walk- opens at 7:00 am) if you need a Western breakfast $$$ and there is Mc Donald’s nearby for your “egg McMuffin”$. Across the hotel’s side alley is the “Brioche From Heaven” French pastry shop also serving coffee and delicious freshly baked croissants $$ (opens at 8:30) There are plenty of Western Chinese, Japanese and Thai restaurants within walking distance. Sora hotel’s standard rooms are compact but not a problem for 1-2 people. ( Note: I had booked for 5 nights, you’d think they would have upgraded me to a different room. No😢) The one minor complaint I had while staying there 5 nights / 6 days was that I only had access to hot water one time —the time of the day didn’t matter 😢. The TV channel choices were numerous- if you understand English. Good music and sport channels also. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽The free coupon for a free rooftop beer or mixed drink was a nice hospitality gesture. There was also a discount on drinks and meals if you stay at the hotel. Staff and maids were all pleasant to talk to. Will return next time. ทำเลดีและโรงแรมสะอาดเรียบง่าย-พนักงานและแม่บ้านยอดเยี่ยม 👍🏽

Very well presented room. Pleasant reception staff. Can't comment on location except to say it's pretty much across the road from the Skywalk @ King Mahanakhorn Tower.

The receptionists were incredibly friendly and the cleaning service was excellent, but... our room, which was on the eighth floor, wasn't soundproofed at all. We could hear a lot of car noise. Above our room, we could hear women talking at night, and it sounded like an animal, a dog or a cat, was walking across the ceiling. We didn't sleep well, and it's a shame because we loved everything else.

The hotel is located right in front of the escalator leading to the BTS station. Great location, clean rooms. The staff were lovely and friendly. I will return next time.
