Phuket Paradiso Hotel

Everything is old. There's a car wash outside the window, and it's noisy at night. We booked the largest room, and it's terrible. Everything is dirty. There are holes in the pillows. There's coal in the closets. On our last night, a mouse ran through one of the rooms.

I'm not sure how this scored over 9 on Booking.com??? Your experience may vary. The room I booked and expected was completely different than the room I was provided. People comment about the cleanliness, I however found it otherwise. I have no problem accepting minor issues, but they all added up to an early departure for me. I wasn't interested in being switched to another room as offered by the host. - Room different from what I was shown I had booked. - 2 room safes, neither one worked - Dust, dirt around window and floor, questionable stains in bathroom - Door lock wasn't working all too well - Flooding in the bathroom (reported and repairs started) - Shower door came off the track while using, very tricky to use and not leak. Bottom of door not really attached. - Instead of shampoo in the bathroom, there was a small bottle of floor/ surface cleaner and a scrub brush? - Mystery flooding in room: puddles in several locations around bed, on shelving below TV where my phone was sitting (thank goodness it's water resistant), freaked me out when I picked up my wet phone, that it may have been damaged. - The bed is very hard, like a sheet of plywood hard. - Dirty cutlery, like uncleaned and really dirty - Never once was the reception office open. On a positive note, the towels were soft, AC and ceiling fan, the wifi worked good, location is walkable to local laundry, dining & pier, covered parking for bikes. Given the price point for "basic accommodations" I accepted it as par for the course, but did feel it was misrepresented.

I was very impressed with the owner; they were incredibly kind and warm. The room was very spacious, with two floors and two air conditioners. It had amenities such as a microwave, kettle, plates, and bowls. Most importantly, I loved the room's design; it was very artistic. The pictures on the walls were also very artistic. From the moment I stepped into the room, it smelled clean and fresh. The cleanliness was excellent. It was very convenient and close to the pier, only 200 meters away, perfect for enjoying the nice atmosphere in the evening. There's a delicious pizza place nearby. I was impressed with everything and will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the owner is amazing: always there to help, he's committed to helping his clients like no other. I highly recommend him :)

Very friendly service and excellent housekeeping. The room was tastefully decorated and stayed nice and cool during the day. The hotel is conveniently located just up the street from the beach with many tour boats leaving for the nearby islands.

Clean, spacy, stylish room. It looks like loft. I like it. Well equipped. Enough space to sit outside, to dry your laundry, shops and restaurants are nearby. It is a little far from main road. So, you di not hear cars noises. It's excellent for that money.
