The Trident Inn

I just took my first solo trip to Ogunquit, Maine. I was a little nervous taking this big step out of my comfort zone, but the moment I arrived at The Trident Inn I was welcomed with open arms. The service is impeccable and they keep it nice and clean! If you are looking for a “feel at home” experience, this is the place! It has a great location with several restaurants and shops/activities within walking distance. Truly a well-run facility and I seriously CANNOT wait to go back!

Highly recommend staying here! The location was perfect, the property is beautiful, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The amenities are really great too and we loved the meal we had at the restaurant!

My wife and I spent the weekend at the trident inn and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were top notch, and the vibe is exactly what we were looking for on a kids free weekend. The location is perfect, right across the street from the few bars that stay open late, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a quick drive to Perkins cove. We will certainly be back.

I recently stayed at the The Trident Inn with a friend, and I can’t say enough wonderful things. The inn itself is absolutely beautiful—every detail feels thoughtfully designed and elevated. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with plush bedding and well-appointed amenities like a coffee maker, ultra-soft robes, slippers, a sound machine, and luxurious Beekman 1802 bath products. We loved spending time at the bar and restaurant—the space is stunning, and the food and drinks are outstanding. The pool area is just as impressive, with thoughtful touches like oversized towels, sunscreen, and a fridge stocked with cold water. The location truly can’t be beat—just steps from shops and restaurants, and an easy walk to both the beach and Perkins Cove. Most of all, the staff made the experience exceptional—they were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

You are within walking distance of all the shops & restaurants, the beach, the iconic Marginal Way and Perkins Cove, yet perched above it all in an oasis of peaceful retreat. The attention to detail throughout the inn and restaurant Coastal Alchemist is so thoughtful. The interiors are soothing and calm yet maintain a touch of whimsy. The luxurious bedding and toiletries are greatly appreciated as are the generous in room refrigerator, Keurig, charging dock and sound machine. Staying during beach season? Trident Inn even offers beach caddies with everything you need. Do not sleep on Coastal Alchemist, the onsite restaurant and bar serving creative cocktails and delicious fresh local cuisine . Above all else what truly sets this stunning property apart is the warm & welcoming staff that go above and beyond to give you the best experience possible!

Everything is fabulous about this Inn… it’s truly a hidden gem, in the heart of Ogunquit center. It’s immaculate property, super friendly staff and stunning panoramic views, make it a must visit. I will surely return!

Such a great experience for a quick overnight getaway. Location was perfect and the views were outstanding. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Everything felt thoughtful and intentional and the attention to details did not go unnoticed! As someone who owns short-term rentals, I have a pretty critical eye and I very rarely come across places that meet this level of quality. I will absolutely be back for a longer stay and would recommend it without hesitation.

Comfortable and inviting. It helped that we had beautiful weather, so could sit out on the deck and enjoy the view, the ambience, the warm sunshine. The room was adequate, very clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
