Festival Mix Brasil is South America's most prestigious LGBTQ+ film and culture festival, held each November in São Paulo across multiple cinema and cultural venues. Since 1993, Mix Brasil has been discovering and showcasing queer cinema from Brazil and internationally — mixing Brazilian first features with international award-winners and shorts programs. The festival is a cultural highlight of the São Paulo LGBTQ+ calendar beyond the massive pride parade.
