Urban Rest Hackney Hotel

It was a nice relaxing time away, we did have an issue with the room though, but was promptly sorted out which was awesome, and a surprising touch which we appreciated also. Being a brand new hotel you are bound to find some issues but when you are pleasantly surprised of how efficiently they are dealt with is what makes your stay memorable. The team and management are pleasurable to deal with. Worth a stay.

Visiting for medical reasons in Adelaide, we stayed at the UR Hackney Hotel. Location good and room comfortable and clean. Beds extremely comfortable. However the process to book in was horrible. If you are not technology proficient dont even bother. When arriving even finding the recption entry was difficult. And you want to hope the concierge happens to be at the desk because trying to contact them is only possible through a chat bot, email or lengthy ph process to a Sydney number. Our key cards stopped working halfway through our 3 day stay. Chat bot was off line, email message was an apology and that they would get back to me. No one at desk for over an hour. It wasnt until my husband managed to get a worker to go look for the concierge that we eventually could get into our room and access our belongings. Cleaners not friendly and avoided eye contact. Parking was good in an underground area but locked from 11pm to 7am without any way to get our car out and to the hospital for a planned admission by 7am. This meant we could not use our car park the first night. This i believe is due to everything being new and in its infancy so hopefully that will be rectified. They did allow is a late check out (by midday) as we had a community nurse visiting to check on my mother and do wound care. I simply would not ever stay here again due to the booking process and difficulty in talking to contacting an actual person to get help when it was needed.

For someone that doesn't hotel very often they made the whole process easy

Very clean and compact room. Clean bedsheets. Good soundproof. Big enough bath room. Friendly staff. There are enough toiletries in the room for your need. Short distance from the CBD where you could take a bus in the very front of hotel. Taxi cost is about AUD 11 to CBD and about AUD 14 from CBD to hotel. St Peter's College in walking distance is worth place to visit. Please register for Open Morning. There is not any convinient store or restaurant around. Could be much better if the hotel provided breakfast option. Esmay Rest at the ground floor has overpriced food. Please provide a notice for mini bar cost and complementary delights.

This Hotel has to be one of the best places in have stayed 10/10.

Conveniently located a stone throw away from the city centre, the accomodation was clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could want from a home away from home! Check in was a breeze. While I understand that safety was a high priority, the fact that you weren’t able to drive your car out of the security parking between the hours of 11pm and 7am was the only thing I could complain about my stay (though only a minor inconvenience).

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern. Shower room was spacious and no leakage outside. Very close proximity to Adelaide CBD and its main attractions. The only downside is car park is closed from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Check-in is needlessly complicated. When you arrive, they'll make you scan a QR code, fill out some ridiculous survey and manually input your credit card and ID details.

Great room/ view , few teething problems ( only been open a month) but did not effect stay.
